Couple days ago I approach this girl at her work place, I started to DJ her. I notice this girl quite awhile now, but didn't really approach her in class because she was always with her EX (that broken up 1 year ago). She was really enjoying herself, unless she was pretending (since she at work). Then later I told her I got to go and ask for her MSN username. She gave it to me, the next day I instant message her, she wasn't really responding the way she did in person. She told me she had a bad day, blah blah blah. I still need to get her number, but never got a chance since the conversation wasn't flowing as smoothly on her part.

Now I am thinking should I continue talking to her, or wait a couple of days. Or just drop it here, but I do like a challenge. And she basically openly armed told me she single at one point when we talk in person. Thanks guys!

I think she picked up on the vibe that you liked her. Cowboy up and ask her out on a date, otherwise she'll brand you as another AFC who hasn't the balls to take her out. Or, she may think you're not interested in her because of what you're doing. Either way, you won't get the girl.

At your age (19), you go for the #, plain and simple.

As far as the situation you have found yourself in now, I dont know what to tell you. People can be different online. Some people don't like to talk/type a lot. Also, the fact that you are probably throwing normal type of convo at her is suggesting you like her and at the same time probably making you fall closely to the Friends zone.

my only advice now would be to straight up ask her out. Say "we should do something this weekend", if you feel comfortable asking her that of course.
