Stay away from movies, stay away from dinner.

For a first date, I'd settle for either Starbucks or Baskin Robbins. Simple, and if the date is going the wrong way, you can pull out.

I do action dates on our second meeting. Not sure if you guys have this there, but we have a place called Dave and Buster's. It's an arcade for adults. You can sit at the bar and have a couple of drinks and maybe an appetizer if you feel she's worthy (most women aren't and I don't pay for their first drink) then you can head to the arcade and race eachother, or shoot basketball against eachother, or do trivial quizes against eachother.

3rd date should be a home movie and she should already know what's up by this point.

Also Don John NJ mentioned that PUA don't take women on dates. My question to that is what else is there to do once you get a woman's interest level up?
I am totally against movies or dinner for a first date. Theres just not enough "relationship" or background built up there. The only time a movie worked was when I took a co-worker out. But we had seen each other at work everyday for a month so....back to your question:

Take her: to the park, shopping, put put (indoors for you!), rock wall climbing, ice skating, to a pool hall to play pool, to an indoor swimming pool, skiiing, to a poker night, or hell....even to run some errands. These are all better ideas than a movie or dinner, regardless of what your eating or watching. If you decide to cook dinner and make it into an "action" type deal then great!

Also, don't act all wishy washy about what your doing for the date. Don't tell her one thing and then change your mind. She will see that your unsure about what to do and you value will go down. Make up your mind, get a plan of action, and execute.

In the Army, when evaluating their junior leaders (2nd Lieutenants and such), most of the time they just want to see someone take charge, divise a plan, and execute. Regardless of the outcome one question must be answered: was the Lieutenant in charge?? Yes or no.

Are you in charge of this date?

You guys are definately giving me some good insights. I'm scratching the whole go to a resturant dinner date thing. Instead I came up with a new idea. I can't go mini golfing DJNJ, have you been outside recently? its fvcking 20*, lol, I'm from CT!

Lol. Whoops. I didnt notice the huge CT next to your name...Personally I would just see if she wants to meet you for a cup of coffee, but if you already committed yourself to a "date" then a cup of coffee wont suffice.

I do like the whole food jive you were talking about. It definately would be cool and different for you guys to both cook together. It will also help you stand from all the other guys who have taken her out to dinner and a movie.
