it takes me 20-30 times to restart my cpu to get my cpu to work because my monitor wont show anything...its not my monitor thats the problem but its the hardware configuration... it may be my d drive, do i need to disconnect the d drive or is there another way?

check to see if everything is completely connected properly(completely in, not just partially) and all IDE cables from drives are connected in the right way. the power supply may also be to blame as it may not be giving it enough power. also try disconnecting the d drive and see what happens. if this doesn't work buy a new computer.

It could be your power supply.
if it doesn`t have enough watts, your pc won't start up or will just crash during start up.

try losing all the peripherals.
unplug both hdds.

check if it will boot. if your pc will show a bios startup screen it could be your PSU.
get one with a higher wattage. (I'd reccommend a low noise one)

when did the problem appear (always / after upgrade / ??)
