i'm taking muay thai lessons and i'd like to harden up my shins and my forearms... what's the best way to do it, beside hitting the heavy bag, since i don't have one and i go to the gym just three times a week?
a friend of mine who's been doing kickboxing for some years has iron-like shins, so it's wrong that you can't harden your shinOriginally posted by Phoenix_of_the_ashes
You can do nothing, get used to the pain and with time itll get better. Anyway, you cant really significantly harden your shin, you just kill nerves and it feels that way.
Do not be too easy. If you are too easy to get, she will not want you. If you are too easy to keep, she will lose interest in you. If you are too easy to control, she will not respect you.

if pain is weakness leaving the body, you shall not cryOriginally posted by bullmoose
Pain is just weakness leaving your body. Get a heavy bag and get ready to cry like Nancy Kerrigan every night for a few months.
Did any of the glass bottles ever break? like if someone had a particularly jagged shin or sum ****.Originally posted by tigre
when I used to take muay thai lessons the teacher used to roll glass bottles on our shins and also tap our shins and forearms lightly with the bottle and then tap harder and harder each day, it hurts like a b1tch but it works. after 3 weeks we each had to break a wooden broomstick with a kick and then with the elbow. some pussies couldnt but most of us could. now that I remember that, those classes were f(_)cking cool.
Yeah thats actually really ****ing bad, it damages the periost, which holds the cells that form the bone matrix. Youll actually **** yourself up longterm.Originally posted by tigre

Shins are pretty hard to begin with, how can you tell if his are harder than normal?
Man Im serious not trying to smartass, Im just wondering how you would measure his shins being stronger.Originally posted by Jay-X

You essentially upped your VALUE in her eyes by showing her that, if she wants you, she has to at times do things that you like to do. You are SOMETHING after all. You are NOT FREE. If she wants to hang with you, it's going to cost her something — time, effort, money.
