Hang out sesh or not?

I got this chicks number 2 weeks ago but didnt call her because i was busy. so i see her at work and tell her we should hang out this week like go ice skating or some **** like that. and she's like "is this is a date? because i have a boyfriend" and i'm like ****. "well it was a date...". then shes like "my boyfriend doesnt care if i hang out with other guys". and then i'm like "k ill see whats up with my schedule and then ill call you".

now the question is should i even bother with this girl if she has a boyfriend? her and her boyfriend are pretty steady i heard so i dont think she would cheat on him. if i hang out with her i dont think i would really get anything out of it. so what do you think hang out with her or NEXT her?
