From a biological POV, they are quite matched: while the guy can become a father, it's not advisable as he probably won't see the kid reaching adulthood; meanwhile the woman most probably can't become a mother at all.
From a logical POV, any guy dating a 42yrs old woman is paying ... with rare exceptions, she's too old and has too much baggage to be in a true loving relationship. Therefore, putting up with her sh!t for sex is a form of payment.
