Hi all.

To be 100% frank, I am sick of my hair "style". I have a thick head of hair and no real callock, so I have always just brushed it back and forgot about it. It's time for a change.

I heard that it's a good idea to consult a gay hair stylist - they know what looks sexy on a man (lol). Should I do this?

Also, once I get my hair re-vamped, what are some good gels (or whatever) that I should use? I appreciate any advice.

lol I find that when you get a new haircut people act as if your a different person. A haircut is a good thing to follow a persona change. :)

I was once in the same predicament. Hair is, in fact, an important factor of attraction - one of the first things a chick will notice. Your hair basically describes your character. Not taking care of it will show through. I've noticed that chicks have said I'm much more attractive with medium-cut hair spiked up. I gel my hair by individual strands, pull down my fringe slightly and pull back my hair on the sides. It's kinda hard to explain, but the change was definitely worth it. I don't use any specific brand of hair gel, I just buy ultra firm styling gel. Any will do basically, just as long as it'll hold your hair. :)

I've decided to change my hair style too at the insistence of some female friends, lol. I used to always keep my hair short, 2 haircuts a month, and 3 girls on 3 different occasions suggested that I grow my hair out "shaggy." They all told me I would look even hotter with shaggy hair. So, for the past 2 months, i've been growing it out. It should be where i want it in about 4 more months

Thanks for sharing ,,,,,,, it will be true that a ponytail-friendly hairstyle with a shaggy bang can keep you looking stylish and tousled instead of tired and messy. For the dads, a corporate haircut will keep baby hands from pulling your rockstar look out from the roots.

I used to have pretty awesome hair when I put wax in it and stuff. I cant bother anymore, I find that it doesnt matter much.
I used ID extreme titanium. Great wax. Just put some on your fingers, heat it up in your hands and go crazy on your hair in 10-20 seconds.
You should provide a picture.
And provide a picture of your desired haircut to your hairdresser.
