I'm all for not tolerating disrespect and putting people in their place, but shoving someone out of your house/apartment without saying a word is a bit extreme. You didn't even know this chick either, I would understand if she was crazy and f*cked up some things in your life but she's just some random ass stranger. And who knows you could've grabbed the phone from her ear while grabbing her waist with the other hand pulling her closer and leaned in toward her lips then the side of her cheek and whispered : "you won't be needing that tonight..." With a smirk as you take her phone and put it in your ,or her, pocket while leaning her back somewhere.

I feel like you could have handled this situation a lot smoother, worst case scenario would have been asking her to leave.

Then people attack the guy for his actions? This is a great example I think of how drastically our society has changed over the past, say 50-60 years. Now of course I'm not that old and I have no first-hand experience. What I mean is, I can remember a couple of stories from my dad talking about my grandpa and how he'd get royally pi$$ed at his wife for something. Now my grandpa had always been a pretty level-headed guy. He died when I was about 20 so I had plenty of time in my life to know *him*. I realize it's possible he probably changed some during the time I knew him and when he was younger. When I first heard the story about him getting pi$$ed and throwing over stuff on the dinner table, breaking all sorts of dishes and what-not, it kinda floored me at first. I just couldn't imagine this guy doing something like this.

It's been quite a while since I first heard that story and today I see it in a very different light. I don't know what set him off in this story but one thing I believe I can safely say today is that my grandpa was a typical man back then. Many typical men back then leaned more toward being a natural alpha than it seems what we have today where it's the opposite. After both my grandpa and grandma passed away, my brother found a diary my grandma kept when they were dating, along with several letters she wrote my grandpa. In these letters were some interesting reading, with her "threatening" my grandpa she was gonna leave him if he didn't change his behaviour (who knows what it was). That's one example I remember off the top of my head; there were other similar writings like that. The point here is that she was throwing one $hit test after another at my grandpa and it seems my grandpa was knocking that crap outta the park. Hell they were married for nearly 60 years before they passed.

So when I read the OP tossing this chick out the way he did, I reminded me of this story of my grandpa handling massive $hit tests and taking his rightful place as the man, a REAL man, of the house. Talking about her calling the police, getting other people involved, this might be construed as assault? Take a step back guys, each and every one of you. Look at how far we're dropped as men in this society in the USA and how much we've essentially neutered ourselves, all in the name of being more pliable.
