So i recently just started working at the front counter of my gym and its pretty great, but I feel like I want to help improve things and make it even better then it is.

So the question is what do you like or dislike about the gym you go to? and why? (how they do things, towel services, spas, check in procedure,m services offered, general apperances etc.)

thanks this would help me out alot in my job, btw im the only male in the front desk department all my shift are with hot girls!! ;) :D

I don't like how my gym has dozens of machines, 6 bench presses... and only 1 rack and 1 pull up bar

I also don't like it when the people who work there ask me not to "drop the plates" when I'm doing power cleans and deadlifts. I don't drop the plates, but it's kind of hard to put a heavy weight down quietly, and it's a gym anyway, not a library.

There is nothing a gym can do to make me want to join. I lift weights in my apartment in the middle of my small living room. When I lift I need to concentrate and direct my full attention to what I'm doing...that seems difficult as hell if I have to wait for an area to be free or if there are bunch of primpers and flirts taking up my space. Umm, so maybe if a gym could have separate enclosed room for each member I might think about it.

Further to that. I'd really like to see a gym where they have multiple lifting platforms.

Lowering down weights (instead of dropping) on the clean and snatch uses alot of energy.
