Do you think guys who do tattoos or body art in general are just desperate for attention? Or are those all bitter words?

Depends on the tattoo.

If they have Sailor Moon, a Triforce, Harry Potter sigils or Assassin Creed symbols, probably not. Same goes for other pop culture tattoos. Fandom stuff. Probably means the OPPOSITE of desperate, since their minds are devoted to something else at the moment.

If they have gang decals or an edgy street tattoo, yeah. If the tattoos have naked girls, very yeah. They might nut to their tats when nobody's around. Most guys I know never got their gang tattoos because of loyalty or representing their street. They wear it so they impress easy girls who want to get with the "bad boys". So yeah, want some advice? Get a street tattoo. Dumb hoes love dat shet.

If they have tribal, they were just broke but still wanted something. Girls may say they think tribal is trash but they're secretly lying, because those tattoos still bait them in. "If the ink is there, they don't care."

If its of a person, its probably somebody who meant something to them, and a good way to garner 4 points of Interest of women. "Who was that tattoo for?"

I am in a dilemma because I wanna have some tattoos done myself and that is why I was curious about how you guys see it. Nothing personal with either side of the conversation

This is what happens when people speak without any sort of knowledge. They talk complete nonsense.

I have a tattoo from an anime on my forearm. I also have a heartagram on the other. I have some on my back, and other places.

Women are fascinated by it.

This comes from guys that have no idea about getting laid, and think they need to fit a certain mold. Instead of just being comfortable in their own skin.

And yes, I've posted pictures of my tatts. I've also posted pictures of different plates. None of them are ever below a HB6.

I never did this for women, but women definately like it. So much so that I approach with them showing (I have hidden them in workplaces - for example).

I see no point in hating on women for what they like, or hating on men for what they like. It really is so fvcking gay and stupid.

I try not to hate on people, but I can't help judging people by their appearance (it's evolution!). If you have a neck tatoo, I'm pretty sure you're a piece of sh1t that doesn't have a care in the world, so I should probably keep an eye on you. That's the way it is.

Any other tatoo, imo, is just a less conspicuous way of begging for attention.

Well, I don't have a neck tattoo. Because I think they are low-class, and look sh*tty.

But, if I wanted one, I'd get one regardless of what you think.

And it's that attitude that attracts the skirt. Know what I mean?

Neck tatoos are certainly low-class, that's why I said I'd keep an eye on 'em.

But I think all tatoos are gay. No offense meant here. It's just my personality.

I was interested in getting some ink done at one point

I decided against it when I answered no when I asked myself the question, "Would I still get a tattoo if I was the last person on earth?"

To each their own.

I personally don't think it means all tattooed individuals are desperate for attention, although in some cases I'm sure it's true.

It's kind of a subjective answer about appearance where the question can be rephrased as "Why do you get a nice haircut?" Or "Why do you dress like that?"

But if we're being honest with ourselves, if tattoos didn't in some way, at least in our own mind, increase our confidence/status/appearance then we wouldn't bother forking out the cash and going through the pain to get them done. Whatever I put on my body though will be well thought out and will have releveance and meaning to myself and my story.

A well done tattoo looks badass and there's nothing wrong with that. I think it only starts to get lame when people get tattoos to try and be someone that they're not to impress people that wouldn't even give them the time of day.

Guilty! I had a bad feeling about my post but posted it anyway. I admit it, I don't really know what the hell I am doing or saying most of the time. However I do think really hard (the 10 post limit stops me from freely posting constantly)

What anime? I wanna gamble and bet on TTGL, DBZ or another Shounen/Seinen, but if you're rocking something weird like Lucky Star and still pulling girls I'd high five you IRL.
