Whenever I'm not working I'm a lazy ****.

On my days off I have so much planned but even the things that I manage to get round to doing get done half assed.

I plan on working out two bodyparts a day, six days a week yet I barely manage one bodypart every other day.
I eat a fair bit of protein but not as much as the 6 x 30g/day that I should.

I keep chopping and changing whether I want to cut or bulk, meaning that all the work outs I've done since new year and all the protein that I've eat has been in vain - I might as well be doing no exercise and eating maintenance level calories.

I put off getting my Dad a Father's Day card til 9pm, by then the store had ran out of cards

I'm too quiet and a bit of a doormat.

Guys, give me a kick up the ass. Please!

Get a 'to do' list. Before you go to sleep or when you get up write down all the things you're planning on doing the next day. Look at it several times a day and cross off the things you have done.

This helps to keep everything fresh in your mind and also you feel good when you see the things you have completed crossed off.

Maybe try to make sure you get one thing on your list done each day, no matter what it is, just get one done each day. After a few weeks of that you may find that it's not too difficult to get two things a day done, and then raise it from there.

Or maybe it's your diet? Sometimes people get things like chronic fatigue syndrome, but to be honest, I think a lot of us feel really lazy on any given day.

Couple questions Jerry

How many hours of sleep do you get
What time do you go to sleep
How much water do you drink
Do you take any multivitamins
Do you eat lots of fruit
What is your preference: running, swimming, weights etc

I've learned that discipline cannot be learned in a day. I too was a lazy bum. I still am to some extent. But today, I am much more organized and on top of things than before.

Before, I'd sometimes get disgusted with myself and decide I need to get my act together. So all of a sudden, I'd be super hard working and get a lot done. But very quickly, I'd be back to the old routine. I would then get discouraged and decide that there was no way I could develop my willpower/discipline.

But one of the best things I've ever done is I started to keep a journal to track my progress. That way you can really observe your behavior patterns and see what you're doing right and wrong. You can be accountable to yourself and you can track your progress.

The key is that you can't get discouraged when things don't go right. You have to just keep with it. You won't go from being a slob to being a workout warrior and productivity machine overnight. When you keep a journal, you have proof that you are making progress and you can see the progress you've made.

I look at some of my entries from even a few months ago and I can't believe I was that way. I see how much I've changed and that encourages me to keep going with what I'm doing. There are some days when I feel absolutely hopeless, but I just keep at it. That's what you have to do.

Well I'm here to tell you there is such a magic wand. Something that will make you almost completely irresistible to any woman you "point it" at. Something guaranteed to fill your life with love, romance, and excitement.

Good ideas ElGuapo. Get a journal and track things that are measurable. So that you can say something like "well, two months ago I was working out once a week, and now it's twice a week, so I know I've improved."

I'm still working on the discipline to start a serious workout routine, and I do exercise a couple times a week, but it still gets hard sometimes.
