Okay, so I just posted the thread on NLP, that is really for my sales job, I also believe it would work for women too, but I got caught stealing out the grocery store earlier and I am a little down. I stole some toothpaste, a toothbrush and some creatine pills, totaling 53.00, yes, I know that stupid, but can anybody give me some comments on what they are going to do to me. I am already on probation for a d.u.i, but i am down right now.:(

Well, in Alberta Canada at least that would be theft under... what, $ some amount. You'll have to forgive me, I'm fresh off a wine tasting / drinking binge here. Anyway, yeah, anywhere from probabtion to some sort of a jail term in Alberta I suspect. Depends on where you are, and what kind of deal you can make with the prosecution.

They'll charge you with misdemeanor theft most likely. It's under , I don't know, 250 bucks. That's the law here in IL I believe anyway. Would be a slap on the wrist kind of thing if it were your first offense. But. The probation for the DUI thing complicates matters a little, as you're supposed to be walking the finest line when you're on probation, but, what's done is done. I would get a lawyer, asap. If you don't already have one. As they could violate your probation for this latest offense. You should be able to avoid actual jail time , however a sheriff's work alternative thing might be a possibility. It's not the end of the world. A close friend of mine got 40 hours on a Sheriff's work crew as an alternative to jail time. You go and pick weeds, do clean up work , whatever, on the side of the road. He was able to knock his out in 5 days, 8 hrs a day. Good luck. Keep your nose clean. ~D

possible, but unlikely. More likely you'll get minimal community service, or some sort of repayment program. It depends on the judge and the prosecutor ultimately. No one can give you any guarantees. Especially on an internet forum.

You essentially upped your VALUE in her eyes by showing her that, if she wants you, she has to at times do things that you like to do. You are SOMETHING after all. You are NOT FREE. If she wants to hang with you, it's going to cost her something — time, effort, money.

I would bet good money that you will not go to jail, no. Are you in America or Canada? I don't know d**k about our good neighbors to the North, or their legal system, but here believe it or not, it takes a little bit of work to get thrown into jail (and even more work to get thrown into prison) here in America. I mean, unless of course you just do something massively bad one day, like rob a bank, and get caught. But that's highly unusual. Anyway, no you shouldn't have to go anywhere. I've got buddies who have been in almost constant small scrapes with the law like this, many times, and have not done a day in jail. Wasted alot of money on lawyers , but stayed out of jail at least. The jails here are hugely overcrowded. There's no way you're going into one for stealing 50 bucks worth of stuff one night. It's not worth what it would cost whatever county you're in to clothe and feed you, you see?? It takes alot, like I said. My first cousin for instance. Busted two yrs ago selling X to minors (what a moron) in an underage dance club. He sold more than 15 pills (which now makes it a Class X felony here in IL) to a narc at the club. So they treat that now the same way they would treat a guy who's standing around peddling crack near a schoolyard. Class X drug offense. HE didn't even end up doing any serious time. He drew 6 months "boot camp", which he served successfully and some parole which he's already off of. So, I'd say for shoplifting 50 bucks' worth, you won't be doing hard time.

hey thanks for the replies, i was just wondering if i should have just pushed the lady down in front of me and ran to the car. she had a girl and a guy with her, but i probably could have gotten out of there though. My gut was telling me the whole time that this just didnt feel right, and that I shouldnt take anything right now, but, me being the idiot I guess, I did it anyway. I had a feeling someone was following me, but just couldnt put a finger on it.

Creatine only gives you 1-2 % increase in performance. Totally not worth it. But the gym jocks who say it works, don't believe them, they just want you to suffer with them.

Don't always be the one putting yourself out for her. Don't always be the one putting all the effort and work into the relationship. Let her, and expect her, to treat you as well as you treat her, and to improve the quality of your life.

hehe, dude, there will always be a way to sweet talk your way out of a petty crime.

You have to convince the man that you had stolen the things for personal benifit, but felt bad while doing so. Repay for stolen items that were kept, and if all rebuttals are denounced command respect and offer an out of court deal for security personelle wages(what is the rest of this sentence supposed to be?).

If all else fails in negotiation talks, you have the option of motioning for a plea of not-guilty to misdimeanor but to a charge of theft. According to court documents for canada and the united states 43% of non-guilty pleas towards shoplifting are lifted with a 1 year ban from entering said merchants premises.

If you lose the case you can take a crash course in small claims court:) Judge Judy style. Show her your skinny arms, let her smell your breath, and show her your inflamed gums, you will be released of all charges and premises bans with the condition of repaying store value of stolen items.

Just like my d.u.i, i got earlier this year, I was driving drunk and hit a tree and rolled over like four times. I mean, all this shyt is just dumb and I hate myself for this shyt.

so...

now your thinking of giving up and not turning around and laughing at your mistakes and counting your blessings?

Read your last post, 100 times if you have to....

You will see that if this question was posed to your councillor while you were in grade 2 you would still get the same answer. Also, you can do a search on car crashes, and know that you are lucky, and luck doesn't just happen, it happens, use 'lucky' periods and stretch ur game.

I know suicide, so if you do decide to end your life, don't think of carving the stores name into your arm and kicking a bucket. They will write you off as crazy and not give a flying pig about your 'problem':)
