This headline is really a gander to the real meaning of marriage heading towards a downward spiral.

This guy on Askmen had asked whether or not he should allow his wife to particpate in a radio show geared towards hot women. He said she was in the contest before, but ex-husband gave her grief about it considering they had "cheeky" activities/games for an elimination process. So there was more to this contest than just being in a line-up, judged, and winning the prize for 2 to Vegas.

Apparently, he considers himself "the good husband" for letting her do it the 2nd time...but I guess there has to be a reason he's posting it on a message board?

==It got me wondering about how different men can be when it comes to the display (for lack of better words) of their women.
==
A lot of feedback from both men and women on the board were like "No way!" Apparently, their decision was based on the nature of the contest. For one using the word "MILF" for wifely women who were mothers. To me, a contest like that is reserved for unmarried women to be honest...or single moms without boyfriends.

But the bigger issue is that do you think her desire to do this is a sign she's tired of HIM...that she needs attention from other people than her HUSBAND is the real big issue...here, right?

Some had touted it as a "chipping away at the foundation of a relationship/marriage." thing. Some said if it has simply been an over 40 beauty contest, that would be a diff. matter.

But going down to a radio station for a Howard Stern-like contest, well...that's where most had drawn the line.

What's sad is this blue piller husband thinks he's the "Best husband around" because he doesn't have a problem with it and kind of strokes his OWN ego saying her ex DID have a problem with it

As if somehow he's the better man because of it.

I think what you're getting at is, "If I tell my woman to exhibit red-flag behavior, and she complies, is it still a red flag?"

I'm going to say no, it's not. She's submitting to your will.

what's wrong with showing off to the world how hot your wife is? feeling the need to hide her away usually screams insecurity that if she attracts anyone's attention you're going to get left/cheated on or something.

unless you're just really socially conservative or something

I'm conservative, not socially though. I'd just be better off with a woman that wasn't into doing that kind of thing either.

my advice is to not be uptight, relax be open minded and have fun, you'll have way more fun with a woman who likes to show off than one who doesn't i'd say

Tell her a little about yourself, but not too much. Maintain some mystery. Give her something to think about and wonder about when she's at home.
