If there is any doubt in my mind about "AFC" concepts, this video would have to settle it. What is mind-boggling, is this guy is also attractive too.

A woman flirts with a guy at a store, pretends to be interested, wooes him into a shoe store, tries out the shoes, asks him if he likes it, and then tells him to pay for it if he likes it. Then he asks for her number afterwards.

I don't insist, rather, I suspect. No evidence, they only talked about it after the fact (as far a I could tell) not like it was planned before hand. At the very least she's not telling it like it really went down. Although I don't doubt for a second that it's possible.

If it did in fact occur, did she actually say whether it was planned for the show, or was it something she did on her own and then wanted to brag about afterward?

That's a bit different. At least at a bar, or a dinner date, there's at least the possibility (or weak hope in most cases) of getting laid THAT NIGHT.

I can't believe that any guy that buys a girl shoes thinks they're gonna go in the back ally and knock it out.

And often times, it's not the girl flexing the pu$$y power intentionally, it's just that she's accepting the free gifts from guys, knowing she won't be giving them anything in return. She doesn't initiate the exchange, but she certainly profits from it.

The most important word in AFC is average. That event could happen to just about any regular dude who's single and doesn't really have any game.

The really stupid thing is giving the shoes away without asking anything in return. The fool was stupid in thinking that his generosity would be rewarded by her, out of the goodness of her heart. He was too much of a coward to ask, "Why would I want to do that/what do I get out of it?" Nothing short of sex is worth $80. There is nothing else that she could give in exchange. And of course trading sex for a new pair of shoes is prostitution.

I am disappointed that she actually kept the shoes. That was very unethical of her to do so. She should have immediately given the shoes back to the man and insist he return them.

How is it misleading? The guy did ask for the lady's number after he bought the shoes. That means he was interested in getting her number. He waited to ask for it after he spent $ 80 to buy her shoes because maybe he felt she would most likely reciprocate back at that point. Classic AFCism. The idea that a woman will reciprocate with her interest (what you want) if you cooperate with her or supplicate to her.

But what was the *fundamental* cause?

Right here on this forum, we have shining examples of AFCs who have been taught what's up, but still do much dumber things. Off the top of my head, currently we have a guy proposing marriage just to get laid more with his fat GF, and a guy falling in love with his escort. Those will cost them way more than $80 and a bruised ego.
