hi everyone, i'm a new member in your community. a friend told me about this place & i'm glad to be here, looking forward to learn from all of you guys.

i would really appreciate it if someone can point me in the right direction, like where to learn the terminology used here, the basic concepts accepted by most guys here, who are knowledgeable or experienced members, etc.

also, if a complete newbie such as myself has a current situation, yet i have not read/learned as much as i would need to figure things out myself, would it be ok to ask questions that may seem simple to the more experienced guys ?

Welcome. You should read the DJ Bible. There's a link on the lower left of the page.

You're encouraged to ask questions, but be prepared for some "tough love" from some members. There are all kinds here... some are patient and some are tougher and more direct, but it's all in the name of helping men see the light.

thank you.
i already started reading some of the DJ bible, but it's a pretty long read & i've only been here like a couple of days, so i guess i'll post a thread with a question regarding a current situation.

just so you understand that each situation is unique. women change quite a bit, and so do men. i've known some pretty wild party girls who settled down just fine, became doting grandmas.

even Ayn Rand was an adulteress. You know. read the Branden's 2 books about her affair with Nathaniel.
