I think there are variety of people on this site:

- The Virgins

No experience with women what so ever, and very afraid of women. Looking to make that first 'score'.

- The Geeks

Some are virgins and some aren't. This group has little to no social contacts with women for whatever reasons. Not being in social circles, no sports, job mainly male dominated etc. (I'm in this group by the way - not a virgin either!).

- The Players

Looking for tips on improving their 'game' but always frustrated thay end up with the 'party' girl all their buddies have had a time or two. Often turned down by the 'good girl' they can never seem to get

- The Experienced

I also am in this category (you can belong to more than one). This group has been in both LTRs and have had one-night encounters. I can tell by the way people post who these guys are, right Albion?

- The Wannabes

The guy who got laid once, but was by some freak accident. He's not sure how it happened and if it ever will again. He's looking to 'score' that second time.

- The introverts

The guys in this group don't get out at all, other than to work and groceries. They maybe get laid every 4-5 years and that's pushing it. They often feel women aren't worth pursuing because the majority are fvcked up.

i don't think you mentioned all the categories... i've been in a LTR for the last 8 months (i thought it was due to this site that i "conquered" her, but months later she admitted that she had been checkin me out for weeks, before we even got to know each other... d'oh!), i can approach girls easily and i always get numbers (i said that i can, i actually don't do it really often, since i don't want my girlfriend to feel cheated on) and since i'm getting all the sex i want, i'm concentrating on improving myself... and that's the only motif because of i come this site... because it's great about self improvement and lots of guys in here have precious advice...

which category of yours would you put me? i thought about it but i don't fit in any of those... call me the outsidah;)

WOW

How about the teachers. I think there are some good teachers sometimes in this site. When I first visited I was in a dillema, married, having a fling with the wrojg girl. One guy bytch slapped me into common sense, and I woke up.

I think Alphawolx may be a teacher, I "try" to be, but my lifestyle offends too many people. If you want to upset someone, TELL THE DEAD HONEST TRUTH. Nothing will offend or scare or afront someone more than straight truth.

Anyway, two extra categories for you.

a. Teachers
b. Haters.

Nah

You cant express good looks over a computer screen.

I agree with the first post but there are a few Teachers and a few Haters in the pack as well. The Teachers are semi regular, the haters are usually transient.

I have seen guys come in here in a state where every woman on earth is just shyte. It amazes me, because you have to love women to attract them.

Create self-fulfilling prophecies. Always assume the positive. Assume she likes you. Assume she wants to talk to you. Assume she wants to go out with you. When you think positive, positive things happen.

I'd propose two main groups: The Naturals (successful due to looks, natural personality, social skills) and the ones who are non-Naturals (unsuccesful due to various reasons) with girls, with subgroups in each.

I think a lot of people are Naturals and don't realize they have it in them. They just need to apply themselves. If you do some approaches and you can attract a girl after a reasonable amount of time, I'd say you are probably a Natural. It's the ones that aren't Naturals who obviously need the msot practice and need to learn techniques, since what they'd naturally do isn't working.

I categorize myself as a non-Natural (due to confidence, BL, social skills?) subgroup: Wannabe/Intorvert. Well, at least I can criticise myself.

I can't afford to go out on the weekends so I just hang out with my 'buds' during the week, I play clarinet in a few local community bands (dominated by people my parent's ages), and work at both UPS and Carquest (I think there's more female construction workers than at my two jobs combined).

Damn.

I'm like the friggin' mascot for this one.

I got some:

The All-Knowing Newcomers: Usually a person that registered this or last month, but from the way he talks, you'd assume that he created every single website concerning seduction. In reality, these guys are nothing more then keyboard jockeys who are trying to build an online ego to make up for lack of action in real life. They will reword and post tips that have already been posted a million times.

The Health&Fitness guys Basically guys who think that all you have to do is go to the gym, build a perfect body, and you wont need neg-hits, c&f, or any of that fake sh!t.

The Anything Else guys Guys who have given up on trying to educate the newcomers and just come to post in Anything Else.

Ofcourse, if the keyboard jockeys were suddenly able to get women they wouldn't be posting on here non-stop anymore, would they? :D

Basically, I belong in a lot of these categories.
I'm an introvert at times, I'm a geek at times, I'm a virgin, but there's also plenty of times that I'm a player. I'm good looking, I'm a teacher. I regurgitate posts from others, but try to keep it all in my own reality.

Lately, I've been having a social-skills epiphany that has gotten me a lot of friends in only 2 days. I often feel like approaching someone, but haven't been able to because of various reasons making it virtually impossible in each situation.
I'll write up a post about it some time... see if I can get the epiphany across to you guys.

For all of you regurgitaters: STOP IT!
Start thinking about your own life, and start improving on what you feel needs improving. Think about it for days and days, until you suddenly reach a conclusion that helps you along your way. Do research, but try keeping your research in real life instead of online - I've learnt a thousand times more from my real life experiences than I have from anything I've read online.

By the way, I can't help but wonder what group tmpgstx thinks he's in ;).

You forgot some of the groups.

"Weak but trying desperately to look strong"...

These are the guys who think that they are supposed to insult women who post here either because they just are clueless about interacting with women but don't want to look that way or they think by acting like a douche bag that it will impress the other guys on here.

"Canadian and UK members who blame American women for their feminism problems"...

These guys are usually incredibly bitter towards women, especially American women, because they believe feminism is the root of all their problems and if women in the US hadn't burned their bras back in the 60's they would be successful with women.

"Trolls"...

These are usually women who pretend to be men and post some of the most annoying and pathetic blather known to man. They discourage guys quite frequently and are easy to spot when offended by a post and post like an angry girl.

"Ebonics and Hooked on Phonics"...

These are the posters who wouldn't know what good grammar was if it bit 'em on the a$$. Their posts are hardly legible, full of CAPS, misspellings, words they make up to look smarter that aren't actually words and "slang from the hood". Ironically...most of these posters try desperately to sound "gangsta black" but are usually lily white and "whigga wannabes".

"Next-ers"...

These are the posters whose only advice is "Next". Either that is the only word they know how to type or they are totally clueless about what to say that might be helpful but still feel compelled to post.

"Philosophers and Thinkers"...

These are the posters who either overanalyze everything or make some of the best posts.

Wyldfire... I think you forgot your own group.

How about you try to describe your role and the role of other women in this community yourself?

You forgot one...

"normal people"

We've had a fair amount of experience, and are probably either in an LTR, or happily dating without pulling our hair out.

I read this site for 3 reasons:

1. To make sure I have a heads-up about potential mistakes I might inadvertantly make.

2. Because it's entertaining.
That guy with the b.s. posts about his "pythons" is a riot. And some of the philosophy on this site is interesting.

3. I like offering advice sometimes--when I really think I can be constructive. I don't have an "axe to grind," "chip on my shoulder," an ego to stroke, or a god that requires good deeds.

I've seen good, compassionate work done here. That's what makes this forum of Allen's worthwhile.

- There are always a bunch of women here with like 4000 posts and STILL 0 experience getting laid with FEMALES and dispensing advice like its pez.

I would also expand to say -

Women posters who feel like they have to incessantly push their own agenda in each post; which always has to do with some kind of forum politics and them not getting the respect they somehow feel they've earned from other posters and/or forum moderators

*cough cough* Wyldfire? Especially slamming on DrSoSuave who seems to give pretty good advice?

Doood stop with this categorizing crap especially the introvert part. I'm an introvert and I can pull girls , in fact I dated 7 in 2004 which is a small number to extroverts who can double that but I don't give a sheeeeet.

Some good responses - gives you an insight as to why people really come to the site ..

"By the way, I can't help but wonder what group tmpgstx thinks he's in".

I'm definitely in the geek group. Some of the groups mentioned could be sub-groups of an already major group. Someone mentioned Health and Fitness - this is me too .. serious recreational bodybuilder.

Peace and Quiet

If you currently have too many women chasing you, calling you, harassing you, knocking on your door at 2 o'clock in the morning... then I have the simple solution for you.

Just read my free ebook 22 Rules for Massive Success With Women and do the opposite of what I recommend.

This will quickly drive all women away from you.

And you will be able to relax and to live your life in peace and quiet.
