Everything and anything that signals that a man is successful, sociable, healthy, etc... will be trendy.
I would think that since facial hair is a clear mark of masculinity, and of being male, then it would be naturally attractive to females on some deep level. On the other hand, as you note, in the past the clean shaven look denoted a certain amount of success. So in the days when women needed a man to support them financially, that was probably more appealing.

That's the logic of it, as far as I can see. But the reality seems to be more varied and complicated than that. For example, simply having facial hair is not necessarily going to attract women. Sometimes it can look goofy if not properly groomed. But the appeal of the scruff look seems to be its effortlessness, as opposed to a meticulously groomed beard. Facial hair or not, women are still attracted to the top tier of men in the looks department.

Hm. I think some grey is sexy. Its sophisticated & seasoned. Life experience. Its funny though because its more pronounced on dark haired men. With blonde men the grey blends in and becomes a light highlight until there is a LOT of it.

I also think facial stubble is quite sexy. I like when hubby has about 2-3 day whiskers. Then it gets itchy & bugs him so he shaves it.

What does the wife think about grey hair? Does she care?

I've started to get forehead wrinkles due to probably frowning a lot, has anyone any ideas how to help this?
Stop frowning.

Yes, I know. Sounds like a 'pat answer', except that when it comes to facial wrinkles, what you do with your face is where you get wrinkles. If you don't worry a lot, you will have less 'frowning wrinkles' than if you're constantly stressed and anxious.

I'm closing in on sixty and my forehead isn't wrinkled. But I don't stress and I laugh a lot, so my wrinkles are mostly around my eyes, which isn't a bad thing around my age.

Your skin will become less pliable when you age. Americans tend to pursue looking youthful even in their old age and battling that with botox and cosmetic surgery, but I'd forego all that and suggest drinking a lot of water to moisturise your skin from the inside out. Go to the sauna regularly and sweat out your toxins. And use some basic moisturiser after sauna / showers.

The best skin comes from clean living and hydration.

Depends. My previous GF liked me clean shaven. The one before that like stubble. Before that liked the pornstache.

Just because a woman listens to you and acts interested in what you say doesn't mean she really is. She might just be acting polite, while silently wishing that the date would hurry up and end, or that you would go away... and never come back.
