The fact of the matter is Greece lied their way into the Eurozone and now they’re trying to lie their way out. This is a question of moral hazard. If Greece is not dealt with sternly, they will never learn fiscal responsibility. It would be better to let Greece fail completely then save it because the cost will be the same but letting it fail demonstrates to the rest of Europe that The Troika is serious and will not squander decent, hard working Taxpayer money on underwriting those who don’t want to pay their taxes or work past fifty. As for Greece embracing the arms of Putin. If Putin is willing to take “The Sh*thole of Europe”, then I say let him have it! Russia won’t put up with this crap for a second! If the Greeks want to live under the Russian yoke, I say: “Have at it, Hoss. Maybe the Russians can teach you the value of an honest day’s labour.” They certainly won’t wipe their bums with Rubles the same way the European Community has with Euros.

The problem is also a refusal by Greece to implement logical and beneficial changes to its Receiver of Revenue / Tax Department and doing something about the huge arrears taxes it is owed. The eurozone needs Greece to leave the Euro in order to save the Euro. Greece’s way of administering itself is gangrenous for the rest of the eurozone. The rot will spread if Greece is bailed out again.A further bail out could also change the geopolitical landscape of Europe as the rightwing in France may gain enough ground to come to power.

The country and its people should be isolated, and be allowed to collapse and starve. Given enough time, the weak will die off en masse and a responsible self-sufficient entity would eventually form up.

But that's too much for our soft Western conscience to bear. We're all about living impulsively. Fck the long-term. 2008 US crisis is another shining example of this.

I suppose its ok with me, I think a global environment in which we must resort to killing and eating each other would be a refreshing change. I just wonder if it will happen soon enough for me to take part in it.

Quite funny how none of you ever considered all the scandals which involves many european politicians which on purpose ignored greece fake balances and let them join anyway.

No shame on the americans since its obvious that your media covers matters of interest for your system but if any of you is european you have no excuse.

Then again I suggest you to use your brain even when its not for picking up girls, so whenever something happens ask yourself "who benefits out of it".

So after this big mess in greece, its the european institutions to benefit in terms of control on a population which prove to be anti-euro many times, now they control them....so basically you have european institutions which benefitted from this mess while this same mess happened because european istitutions years ago didnt do proper controls on greek number and ignored many red flags.

By european institution I mean the public front of private corporations, no need for me to remind you that the european central bank is owned from different national banks which are mostly owned by privates.

Either this or "its the greeks fault".

I also invited you to look by yourself who got the "economic support" that the european citizens paid to greece, you will notice greeks got jack and sh1t, those money went to french and german banks, some coin to italian ones.

Also you may be curious to know that recently all major greeks airport are legally under control of german corporations, not bad for one of the biggest tourism place in Europe, same with many ports, again not bad for a country which is a turnin point between east and west....coincidences.
