Hey everyone, new poster here... figured I would try and get some advice from some other people out there... ill tell my story real quick...
Since this is anonymous, i really dont care... im 23, only had a handful of girlfriends in recent years, nothing longer than a year. i would say im about a 5/10, and thats according to putting my pictures up for rating on other sites and i float between 5-7 usually... im 5'7" so its tough to meet girls most of the time cause lets face it most girls like tall dudes. i recent lost my virginity about 8 months ago... ya i know im a clown, but it was with a REALLY hot girl and we ended up dating for a few months and I ended up getting really good in bed. um, i started reading askmen.com and menshealth.com articles for relationship/sex advice and came across a few e-books on dating etc. after reading the books and improving myself my self confidence shot through the roof and i went from a shy idiot to pretty much being the man. i was able to talk to any girl and time and get them genuinely interested. my only problem is that im extremely picky, so i only go for 7/10 and above.
ok now on to my current story.
i was out with my friend jessica and her boyfriend john one night and we went to dinner at chilis. i arrived first so sat at the bar watching the home run derby and looked across the bar and noticed this EXTREMELY good looking girl. but i couldnt really talk to her cause i was just sitting there and she was waitressing so i just sat back and enjoyed TV. a few minutes later my friends arrive and they ask if I want a booth or to sit at the bar, i said i dont care and they chose booth.
well wouldnt you guess, the SUPER hot waitress is OUR waitress! so now im like well ****, i gotta ask her out now... so we order our food and i smile and joke around being myself, and eventually we finish dinner and my friends are egging me on to ask her out. my friend john says he went to high school with her and that shes a HUGE *****. im like whatever i dont care. so here is how i went about asking for her digits:
(after dinner)
Waitress: you guys all set?
Me: ya, i'll take the check, and also, could I get your number? (smile) You can just write it on the receipt or something...
Waitress: (smile) are you serious?
Me: yep.
Waitress: (smile) ok
So she walks away and returns with the check
Waitress: so whats your name?
Me: Ryan
Waitress: im Alicia.
Me: nice to meet you Alicia
Then my friend jess, whos jaw just dropped, asked how much she owed.
Me: dont worry about it, ill pay now, you guys get me back tomorrow (we were going out tomorrow for drinks)
So i tipped like 6 bucks on a 21 dollar tab and left.
So i had to play it by the books, and waited till wednesday night to call.
I got home from work, and called, and it went to voicemail, so it wasnt a fake number. I was also expecting a call from another girl who i had planned to take out on wednesday for a date. So i called back about an hour later, and left a voicemail saying: "Hey Alicia its Ryan, I met you monday night. Anyway, just got in from work and was wondering what would be a good time next week to take you out? Youve got my number now so just call me back and we can set something up. Ok bye."
Now, as Im leaving the message i have an incoming call, figuring its Michelle i check my missed calls and it was Alicia!
So i call her back, and the conversation went like:
Alicia: Hello? Is this Ryan?
Me: Ya
Alicia: OMG! I didnt think you were gonna call me!! You left the receipt I didnt think you took my number! I was gonna ask for yours but you left!
Me: Ya i took it haha, so whats up? Sounds pretty loud in the background there
Alicia: Im boating
Me: Oh thats fun, well hey, im just on my way out the door (lieing), whats a good time next week to take you out?
Alicia: Whenever, im pretty available...
Me: Oh ok, well call me next and we can set something up!
Alicia: Ok, well ill call you tonight is that ok?
Me: ya sure, I gotta run, goodbye!
And i hungup... now i KNOW i should have said Ill call you next week, but no big loss there.
About an hour later she texts me:
Hey i didnt know that it was u calling at first..but it was good hearing from u..i def wanna make plans to get together
I replied:
Ya of course! Just let me know when youre free and we will work something out!!
And thats where i stand now... I dont want to call tonight, cause thats way too desperate, and im busy friday night till saturday morning, so Im thinking ill call her saturday evening if she doesnt already call me before then.
And for a first date im going to take her to dinner, then ice skating.
