I'd sent this girl, and several others an email yesterday. I get a VERY low response rate to my emails on there.

I didn't ask a lot of questions in the email, so she basically did answer the ones I asked in her reply.

Is this a pity reply, or does she maybe just not know how to respond properly and carry a conversation?

I emailed her yesterday around lunch. She replyed last evening around 10.

Should I write this chick back now, or write her off?

Seems weird to "thank" someone for emailing in this fashion.

First mistake you're making is worring too much about it. Just have fun contacting people and keep it light. Be hard to get too!

Well, I've had VERY minimal luck with match. Like, a ridiculously low response rate.

However, people tell me I'm an attractive guy and I know I have everything else in order.

I guess my point is, it just seems like a retarded response.

I expect people to either say, thanks for writing, but I don't think we're a good match, which I've gotten like twice, or to reply and answer my questions and ask a couple questions herself, and say, talk to ya later.

So, it just seemed dumb.

She talked about being on the ski team so I'd say something like "you were on the ski team but did you win anything? ".

FYI, I have yet to see any guy who was truly successful with a particular woman who referred to him or anything he's said as "nice." Plus it sounds as if her response was a gentle blow off.

I'm going to do something that I seldom do, post the note you sent and a link to her profile. I critique it and will give you a hint or two about what I would have written to this particular woman. Just remember that you may or may not be able to use it because it may not be your style but it will give you an idea on the concept.
