Got a scenario

Me and this chic are supposed to go out spend most of the day and all. Third date. She tells me the day prior that she's going to have dinner w/ a few family members and we'll have to get together later on in the evening. So I said ok..because I don't want to interfere w/ family stuff especially. The day of the date, she calls me up and says she's not feeling well. She's been in bed all day. I am going to give her the benefit of the doubt so I tell her I'll call her back. Some of me is saying she is telling the truth and that she really isnt' feeling well. Some of me is saying..maybe she's not interested anymore and this is her way of telling me. What do you guys think?

Not interested. Girls don't cancel dates when they're excited about it. If she fails to set up another date, you know for sure its over.

It's simply an excuse to bow out on seeing you. Maybe she messed up her face or something, who cares buddy. What you should be thinking about is that you think too much and expect too much out of a girl who you hardly know.

Wiesman makes a good point. If she doesn't reschedule then she's not interested. But some girls like to be asked out, as expressed by 3 of my girl friends. They'll wait for the guy to make the move.

Skull - I've known her a few months already and we communicate a couple of times a week. I just recently decided to ask her out. 2 dates and she says she enjoys my company. Whatever that means.

Anyways..I'm gonna play this by ear. I'm gone for a month in 2 weeks anyways. plenty of time to forget about everything.

Yes..sh*t happens...people get sick, people get flat tires....hell..maybe she got a screaming case of herpes and decided she didnt want to share that with you.

Give it a couple days for her to get better.

Call her and say something to this effect:

"I'm glad that you're feeling better. Since you had to cancel our last date...YOU owe me now! Yep..I wanna be pampered. You're going to have to pick me up..wine and dine me...I'm thinking lobster! And I may just put out too..haha."

If you are C/F about the situation...she should gladly reciprocate and reschedule a date. Heck...she may even pay for it too..

If she does..then you know where you stand.

If she doesn't, and makes up another excuse or some stuff about being busy this weekend...and the next..or the next...then SHE GETS THE NEXT..

You've already been on 2 previous dates with her..and i'm assuming you already kissed closed..sooo...I'm thinking her IL in you is moderately high...so don't look into the situation too much.

Be smooth, let this one slide, and let it go.

Also, never pay attention to advice given by a woman on this situation..unless she's from this site..

i'm with u bro.. i've had chicks cancel... "got an assignment and i'm stressed out" then i'll call them again in a week, and no worries.. infact, one particular girl, every time she cancels on me, she seems to turn up at the club which i frequent on friday nights - as normally i wouldn't have been in contact since she cancels..
i cancel dates.. why? sometimes i just can't be ****ed. sometimes i've got something legitiment. does that mean i'm not interested? not at all.. it does mean that my interest isn't bordering on obsessive. can you see an AFC cancelling a date?

AFC - average frustrated chump (another f*cking chump) - basically, a chump.. a normal old obsessive fool, who comes on to quickly and will put up with any chick games.

one-itus - chick ur MADLY inlove with. to the point its ur downfall in life.

ONS - one night stand

rAFC - recovering AFC

dj - don juan

hb - hot babe (followed by a number - rating out of 10. eg. HB7 = 7/10)

I have read the DJB but never saw the abbreviations. I'll go over it again.

As for hb she's a 7

Well I suppose I would have left at:
"Give me a call when you are feeling better".

And just left it at that - its possible she is sick or possible she isn't. I wouldn't think too much about it though - you'll know fairly shortly either way.
