I recommend Person of Interest since the main character is a badass manly man

the show sort of falls apart towards the end though, but it's pretty great through season 4

Once you get through some of the more ridiculous aspects of the shows, the male leads are prime examples of what women find attractive. Most shows just sling in a dude and have women jumping at him and it's completely unbelievable.

Says anime was a guaranteed way not to get laid, then asks about the Jersey Shore, a show that lowered the nation's IQ.

LMAO. What upperclass person watches the Jersey Shore? Most people who I know who watches that weren't exactly intelligent people and successful people. Though I know that Michael Cera is a big fan.

Btw, Leonardo DiCaprio is a big anime fan. So much so that he turned down Star Wars to remake the anime Robotech. Good enough for DiCaprio, good enough for any man.

But watching something doesn't stop anyone from getting laid because it's apart of who you are. That's just retarded to think that a forum of art won't get you laid.
Sorry I didn't mean to insinuate anything like that, it's just most of the people I grew up with that had women going after them were in the "anime is for fags" and "watches JS" camp.

Did you graduate from high school? Do you have a day job? Most people that I grew up with were in the "JS is for idiots" camp. Because, ya know, it was a dumb show. I mean, there is no way around that. I used to make fun of the few people who watched that show.

I also always thought that it was common knowledge that a lot of cute girls are into anime and manga especially with the amount of girly anime and manga. I've dated quite a few who were hard core fans. Those women tend to be very creative and smart.

You seem to be into group think. You should work on that and improve your self esteem.

okay don't lie to him, most hardcore anime fans that are female are chubby yaoi fangirls

It doesn't matter how good-looking you are, how romantic you are, how funny you are... or anything else. If she doesn't have something INVESTED in you and the relationship, preferably quite a LOT invested, she'll dump you, without even the slightest hesitation, as soon as someone a little more "interesting" comes along.

Interesting.

When I was in school, all the lads were watching Dragonball Z. Literally everyone.

It was so mainstream that It became it's own channel playing Dragonball Z for days on end.

And I hung around with the "bad crowd/cool kids". We were all still watching it.

So, I probably have a very different view on it. But, perhaps that is cultural.
I mean, DBZ is so popular there are people who hate anime and would never ever watch it that still love DBZ. it helps that DBZ is amazing

LOL, nah man. The last one that I dated was a psychologist major and the other a writer as well. But very attractive. I remember this one girl who was really hot and I wanted to get with who was into one of my favorites, Attack on Titan.

And of course Japanese women. Just this weekend I met two in Santa Monica. I brought up Attack on Titan and one got super excited. Next thing I know we found out that we had the same top 3 characters. It's actually a good ice breaker with them since a it's their culture haha.

There really isn't anything "gay" about it. At least not in England.

I've posted before my tatt from a particular anime called "Berserk".

Seems like it's considered differently over here.

Personally, I don't watch any new ones. Just the occasional re-watch of Berserk, or Fist Of The North Star every few years.

And, I have watched that with women. I watch whatever the fvck I want to watch, at the end of the day (especially if a woman is around me at length).
I don't get it myself. Everyone that I grew up with watched anime. My roommate who is six years older than me does, my ex roommates one of which is a navy seal does, and exes have watched as well. Until I started posting on the red pill, I had no push back. It's strange.

My guess is that some people think of Pokemon when they think of anime, especially with Pokemon go. They don't realize that anime is objectively more emotional than Western Art due to using aspect to aspect versus what we use in the West with action to action which isn't that emotional. And the stories seem to delve more into the human condition in a way that the West is afraid of going into.

It's shame too. Anime has something to offer everyone from shounen, action adventure, slice of life, drama, comedy, parody, science fiction, thrillers, horror, and so much more.

I am, like you a little disappointed with new anime. Though I think Attack on Titan is fantastic, One Punch Man straight up makes me laugh, and Sword Art Online connects me with my childhood in a unique way.

Btw, thanks for telling me about Berserk. I can't believe it took me so long to watch that!

Here's what you need to understand about television shows: they have multiple target audiences. What most people don't understand is that a major audience is sponsors.

If the show can't target sponsors, no one gets paid and the show fails.

The show also has to target women. So, you're going to get a dose of what women think they want in damn near every single show on TV. That's the Disney fairy tale **** that doesn't actually happen.

There are exceptions, like Netflix, HBO, and Showtime originals. These shows don't cater to anyone, because they're subscription based. Their sponsor is you.
I do believe that it is sometimes good to watch some of these blue pill shows because they show you how not to behave.
This is the correct attitude to take with you when watching television, if you must. Learn from what the guys do wrong, and be very aware that the show will reward these guys! You have to be able to differentiate between this and real life.

Love Mad Men. I watch a wide variety of shows to gain perspective, anything from Gossip Girl to Two & a Half men. The Blacklist is good also as is 24. I like the Walking Dead as well, although this season has been really slow.

When I was a kid I liked Pokemon & Dragonball Z.

I am going to watch Game of Thrones also before the new series comes out!

When I was 18 I used to sit on social media for hours whilst watching films. Nothing will turn your brain to mush quicker than that.

I probably watch an hour or two of TV a night now, which is more than enough.
