I was thinking about taking this girl out to An amusement park for the first date. I live a little more than 2 hours from Hershey Park,PA. Would this be a good date? Also I'll probably make this a double date if I go.

Amusement parks are excellent dates. We advise here that "action dates" are the best, and getting her on a rollercoaster is a rather good idea! My gf also says that rollercoasters make her feel horny so go for it

Don't make it a double date, if I were you. Spend time with just you and her.
The distance is interesting. One one hand, your going out of your way for her - it's the equivilant of buying flowers or something on the first date - very AFC. On the other hand, it'll give you plenty of time to chat, and if you can make her contribute towards the entrance costs, food once you're in there, etc, then it'll seem more equal and shouldn't be a problem. Still, isn't there anything closer?

yeah, amusment parks are excellant but i have to agree with aftershock...that is a bit out-of-the-way for a chick on a first date, but it should be fine

Man, I'm kinda jealous. We hardly have any of that here. Amusement parks, ferris wheels, and cotton candy are kinda hard to come by in Lawton, Oklahoma. :/ But anyways, if you know her kinda well, I'd say go for it. But if it's a first date with someone you just kinda met and number closed, then I'd say it's kinda outta the way and might put you in the good ole' fashioned friend's zone. Take it from me, go somewhere nice and convenient for the first date, pick it up with some kino and awe her with your suaveness, and save the amusement parks until after you guys get to know her other a little better.
