[SPOILER FREE POST BELOW!] - I can't vouch for the spoiler-free nature of the replies, though once it's released on home video, iTunes, Amazon, and/or Netflix I'm sure that spoilers will become fair game.

I finally saw Gone Girl last night and it was an eerily accurate portrayal of the manipulative and crazy sociopathological tendencies of modern entitled empowered American women and the war on men. I will have to buy it and I suggest all Don Juans buy it whenever they get the slightest sense that they're starting to pedestalize or get one-itis. I know, I know, true DJs don't get one-itis and/or pedestalize, but we all sense the symptoms coming on and this is great ammunition to have.

Crazy, Stupid, Love is a good second movie to have in your arsenal, except for the typical ending and the unraveling of all the alpha buildup throughout the movie. But that's typical Hollywood for you, and the only way to get female box office money, so if you can acknowledge its deficiencies you're okay. Won't say more than that.

Gone Girl reminded me of one of my favorite quotes: "Man's greatest weakness is his facade of strength. Woman's greatest strength is her facade of weakness."

:::::::::::::Spoilers::::::::::::::::::

Loved the movie. Tons of alpha (Ben Affleck in some spots especially when he already had that side chick), and beta behavior (Neil Patrick Harris). Lots of cringeworthy behavior as I watched the woman completely manipulate everything and everyone in that film. I was thinking how they should make a good Red Pill movie next.

Great film, it is an extreme example but the premise is bang on....

Any man who can have Emily Ratajkowski as a side chick is an A* in my book!

Agree. You summed up both movies perfectly. Man, the ending to Gone Girl left me feeling sick and claustrophobic.

Sadly I do not think that Gone Girl is as extreme an example as you think. Maybe the events are not exactly as extreme in each case, but the same tendencies and attitudes toward men is there in every case.

Just came out. I think in October. Ben Affleck, Rosamund Pike, Tyler Perry (wtf?).

The funny thing about the book and movie is how popular it is with women. It is a complete admittance if we didn't have millions of them already of a woman's manipulative nature, taken to extreme levels.

Peace and Quiet

If you currently have too many women chasing you, calling you, harassing you, knocking on your door at 2 o'clock in the morning... then I have the simple solution for you.

Just read my free ebook 22 Rules for Massive Success With Women and do the opposite of what I recommend.

This will quickly drive all women away from you.

And you will be able to relax and to live your life in peace and quiet.

I think women love the book and movie because they get to say, "See, now THAT'S batsh1t fvckin' crazy. I don't look so bad anymore, huh?"

...Even though in your head when they say that, you're going

Rather than creating a new thread I'll just post here.

Please Watch the movie: Men, Women and Children.

It correctly differentiates what most of us have tried to explain in the past.

What a DJ character is, what a jerk character is and more reasons why the DJ mentality of "having something else going for you" would forever change men.

Oh gone girl was pretty legit too.

Gone Girl released on BluRay and iTunes, at least in the US. Go buy and watch regularly.

I just watched that movie right now and despite it portraying an interesting message it's actually very well put together in terms of suspense... Plus the acting, I'd never thought I would be convinced by Ben Affleck taking on a serious role but this movie changed my mind.

My review for SS: Although Rosamund Pike's character is portrayed as someone with a serious issues that are above the norm, you cannot ignore what society deemed Ben Affleck's character once he unknowingly became a suspect despite "innocent until proven guilty."
