Here is the story

- Ex and I only dated for 5 or 6 months
- Have only seen Ex once in person in the last 2 years
- Went complete NC after a week or so of questioning my decision to dump her
- The Ex attacked my character behind my back which completely solidified my NC decision
- The time I did see her was at a family gathering and I said not a word to her
- Been dating my new girlfriend for 6 months
- New girlfriend knows a very general, vague description about this particular Ex
- Don't need the drama. Don't need the guaranteed cattiness/gossip

What would you DJ's do in my situation? Bring new girlfriend to the party? Go alone and enjoy myself while continuing NC? Your thoughts?

Who cares what your ex thinks.. Pretend she's not there and bring your new girl. Don't look at her.. Don't engage.. Just go have fun with your girl. Its a free country so don't let an ex stop you from doing what you want to do.

^^^agreed.

I would also tell your girl that an ex of yours might be there. I wouldn't think there would be any problems with your ex while you're there, but in case there is, it's best not to have your current girlfriend standing in the middle of you two with a distorted confused look on her face not knowing what the hell is going on.

True. But I don't want to put my girlfriend in any awkward situations. I would assume the girlfriend isn't thrilled at the idea of being in the same room as somebody who her boyfriend used to fukk

Well, just go the safe route then. Stay home and spend the night watching the 5 part deluxe edition of the Twilight saga. I'm sure your girlfriend wouldn't mind that.

If you were going to bring your New Gf in general bring her. You shouldnt being her to create jelousy, who cares what she thinks. Shes your X, you moved on and most likley so has she. I wouldnt go out of your way to say hi. if you do pass her say Hi move on keep it short and polite and enjoy your time with your friends. as most ppl on this site know, exs are exs for a reason...no reason to re kindle anything with her...she will want your attention and thats all if she wants anything, dont let her mind **** you, it will most likly be a trap....

Cliffs: go and have fun as if she wasnt there....you are the prize always remmeber.

Keep Spinning,
