Question for people that have been at it for 2-3 years and have achieved a good level of success: Have any of you gotten there without the help of a wingman, coaching or direct mentor?

I ask as I'm just coming up to my first year of being game aware, only read a few books and am currently getting about 1 or 2 new lays a month of 6s, 7s and the rare 8 mostly from daygame and tinder. I've got a few mates who are naturals but I move frequently for my job so haven't built up a steady group to go out with. I'm sure it is possible, just curious to hear your journeys and how you got there solo.

I don't even get matches on Tinder, especially not hot ones.

What does "game aware" mean, in your definition?

No. Unless they are your best friend, wing men help you with women the way ImTheDoubleGreatest helps me here.

Learn to go out alone. Start by going out to dinner at a nice restaurant and sitting at the bar by yourself. Have an appetizer and two drinks to control expenses. Dress and tip well. Go once or twice a week and sit at that same bar, around 8pm. Call everyone by their name. Talk to everyone, even the old guys at the bar. You'll get to know the politics of the city soon. City Hall was once the local bar and barbershop. Another great place is the pool table if you are good. Or the dartboard.

Aware that I was able to learn and develop this side to become better with women. Thought previously it was pre-determined based on my looks, income etc.

Tinder matches are based on saying as much as possible with your photos. If you google for the most matched men on Tinder (several posts on this) you'll consistently see that they have high quality photos, usually of them looking away from the camera and naturally smiling, Have a few other photos of you doing activities/out in cool locations/having fun. Bio I'd keep short, this will put more people off than on depending on what you put there. This gives me about 2-4 numbers a week (that automatically whittle themselves down to 1-2 dates).

Thanks Bigneil, motivational. Rare to find young guys as committed or interested in this these days. When you read about the passion and commitment of what guys used to do you think.

Looking for my "local", glad you brought that up. Whenever I seem to get settled in one place I'm usually shipped off to a different location but have at least 6 months of time in one location.
