Goin to the Concert

Hey all,

I've been going to this forum for a while now but this is my first post...

Like many others, I'm naturally very quiet and awkward in social settings, and I don't get out much. Pretty much all my free time in the summer has been going to TV/Videogames. (Blah!)

I am going to a concert tonight (something that I don't usually do) out of desperation for something to do. I will be pretty much alone as none of my friends are coming, but I'm hoping to make as many approaches as I can.

Does anyone have any advice or articles that will be helpful to me?

Talk in ears and if it's your first time don't stand too close to the stage if it's a metal/hard rock band. Mosh pit is hard to get out of if you're in the middle. The benefits are it's easy to dance and since you already have a bunch in common via going to the concert you have an easy opener.

Well, im back and it turned out pretty well,

Lots of socializing with everyone cuz I went with a youth group, so I felt pretty comfortable... I became very friendly with the girl i sat next to, there was a lot of kino between the two of us in the beginning, but it kinda slowed down near the end.

On the bus ride home I sat with a bunch of upperclassmen from my school who i never knew too well (At school I thought they were snobby). By the end of the ride I felt like we were all best friends.

All in all I feel great about the night and I think im starting to get out of my AFCism... Hopefully I can keep it going with the chick, but im at the point now where I dont feel like I need a steady relationship to keep me happy.

Sounds ace dude. About the relationship if your not sure about one then don't get yerself into one. Thats all I can say about it. Any doubts and dump the idea.
