This is a technique advocated for by one of my favorite self development books. Just having a journal listing your goals and keeping it very updated.

— Working on online game.

— Replace my wardrobe.

— Organize my room and house for get together / dates.

— Get back down to 4% body fat.

— Bench press twice my body weight, I made it to 5 lbs less than double my body weight before.

— Climb Mount Kilimanjaro.

— Get rescue divers (scuba) certified.

— Get sky diving certified.

— Start regular MMA classes.

— Get professional photos taken.

— Go to 9 new countries in the next 2 years.

— Get back down to 4% body fat.
I don't know why you'd want to do this unless you had a very specific reason (modeling, acting). I've been as low as 7% and it is not fun; you have low sex drive, you get sick easily, you have low energy, and are generally in a worse mood. I had people asking me if I was ok because I lost a lot of weight and my face became more gaunt. Highly recommend not pursuing this one, or maybe adjusting to something in the low double digits.

This is going to be incredibly difficult unless you are very lightweight - and even then you'd still need to be incredibly strong. The last time I went for a max I hit 295lbs cleanly and had to cheat to get 300lbs while weighing about 205lbs myself. Statistically, only about 15% of men can bench 225lbs, and only about 1% can bench 300lbs.

Unless this is a lifetime goal where you're incredibly well-trained and ideally lightweight, this is likely to get you hurt.

Your goals regarding fitness are retarded but @BPH missed the point of whether it's a good idea. Sure. If it keeps you on track. I do something similar and find it's helpful as long as I glance at it daily and it's simple and only has a couple of things on it. If it becomes pages of notes less so.

Mine

1. Learn Russian
2. Lose 30 lbs, ~15% bodyfat
3. Approach at least 1 woman every day
4. Learn to box

Oh, I’ve been 4% before for a duration of time and didn’t have issues.

But my main goal is to get some professional photographs then I’ll let my body fat go up but still remain below 10%.

I’ve already bench pressed 275 lbs when I weighed 140 lbs. My work out partner did 305 lbs at 129 lbs.

Ive always had a high bench. But this isn’t a super important goal. Id be content with benching around 250 lbs, girls wont know or care about that difference.

What’s wrong with my fitness goals? Saying they’re not ideal, you could specify which and why.

To clarify, this goal list of mine was just me making the thread for future use. I literally wrote that list of goals with no planning in 2-3 minutes with whatever came to mind that was at least a serious goal at one point in my life. Most are current, some I don’t care much about.

How tall are you and you partner? 4 feet?

Is everyone in this forum doing everything for the girlzas first in mind? Goddam
I’m 5’8, he’s like 5’5 or 5’6

Not doing everything for girls, but that’s a consideration that I think about.

This goal isn’t driven by women, no girl is going to care if you can bench press double your body weight or 250 lbs.

That’s me when I was in the second best shape of my life.

I didn’t take a picture when I was in the best shape.

Trying to get back to that.

What was your weight there? Also, which gear did you use, how much and for how long? I'm thinking of doing 8 weeks, 200mg NPP with 100mg TRT test.

I don’t remember weight, between 140 and 160.

Idk what NPP is.

I just took normal over the counter supplements, nothing that affected hormones.

Im currently on normal supplements and pro hormones and such.

Pre work out. (pump fuel)
Carb complex. (karbolyn)
Amino acid complex. (recor)
Creatine.
Glutamine.
Protein shake. (replenish)

And a few pro hormones.
Some stuff that raises test.

That's why to skinny for me. I'm 5'6" and if I go that low I look like a twig with clothes. I weight 170 lbs in my profile pic.

For me 12% body fat is the perfect balance between lean and big. If I go solely for abs, I'd lose a lot of size, I don't like that look.

Really? I looked like a youtube fitness model (not my words, strangers came up to ask for fitness advice, I’m not going to post them but I have pictures of me with my head on the pic and with clothes on and my musculature is very visible and good looking, around that time and my muscles were bulging out of my clothes.

Were you wearing size medium? Or large?

160 lbs and below for guys our height need to be small shirts.

Also, the body fat % readers used on me during that period may not have been accurate and it was actually between 5-8%.

I say this because I’ve recently used body fat readers that costs like $10,000 for the clinic but is perfectly precise.

That's not even close to 4% body fat. Looks like 12-13%. You're on death's door if you're at 4% body fat for a length of time
I’ve seen healthy 2-4% at younger than 20.

The method used to read my body fat was probably not super accurate. Im pretty sure I was sub 10%, but I don’t know.

Oh, that’s not the picture of me when my BF was read at 4%, but it is VERY similar looking.

Im not too concerned with numbers though.

Being healthy, strong, and good looking matters more. If that’s 12-13% then good, less work for me to reach that level again haha.

Appreciate your input. I never would’ve known that.

Good, you shouldn't be concerned with numbers unless you planned on becoming a competitive bodybuilder. If you reach 4% as a natural, you will lose A LOT of muscle, and you wouldn't look very good at all. Your body would probably be in a perpetual catabolic state. Look at natural bodybuilding competitions. The guys look great out of camp, but look far worse when on stage.

10-15% is a healthy range to stay in while looking good. Last year, I peaked aesthetically. I looked even leaner, was more muscular, had veins in my quads and abs and I still wouldn't confidently say that I was under 10%. I was often irritable too. Pretty hard to get an accurate reading, but enough years in and you'll be able to gauge with an eye test

That picture is more than a good enough physique to be attractive to girls, don't get me wrong. But you are nowhere near peaking as a natty. Keep at it and I like that you want to progress

Thanks for that, glad to find a flaw in my body fat % goal before I pursued is strongly. The device used to measure me must have been inaccurate.

Will definitely be working hard to hit my previous peak, and go beyond.
