college hoops is boring. (IMO). The only time I ever got interested in NCAA is when I had money on it in various office pools, and the only time I ever watched an entire game start to finish was when my team was in the finals, and I would have won something like a c-note if they won.

If you want to force yourself to get interested, then lay a couple bucks on the over. That usually does the trick.

Even better if your watching it with a room full of people that have done the same thing.

If you want to talk, talk to your friends. If you want a girl to like you, listen to her, ask questions, and act like you are on the edge of your seat.

yo welcome to the club of NOT being a sheep!!

College basketball is inferior quality basketball when it comes to entertainment, because most of it is too proper, precise, and by the book basketball - it is absolutely boring to watch, and neither me, not you, have any reason to care about some 20 year old college athletes winning anything.

Pro basketball at least has some entertainment value, with superstars, crazy good assists, crosses, and trick plays. If you really want to be entertained by basketball, then you have to steer from the sheep, and check out some streetball, because that is where you can see basketball at it's most insane, most exciting potential!!

As for Alle Gory......1/2 of the reasons you gave us to watch hockey (Ice, Beer), have nothing to do with hockey!! Suck it up, hockey in North America sucks.....all they ever do is the same boring shyt of dumping the puck in, chasing after it, putting a shot on net, and hoping for a rebound.......MOST OF IT IS LIKE THAT!!! Talk about lack of skill talent, thank god for the European players (and a select few north american players) that make a small bit of the NHL watchable.

At best, hockey is something to watch only the daily top 10 plays if you wanna be entertained and not bored.

Real enthusiasm. Real tension. Real energy. Nothing like it. And the basketball is only second to the NBA. Lets see fans in America try to light flares in an arena. One thing you always notice is few females show up. It is a territory reserved primarily for males.

Soccer is also outstanding for politics, scary acts of racism, violence, and sheer madness. Stay away from British soccer. It is as bland as American sports these days.

An exhibition game!! That is right. A summer friendly in Greece. Imagine walking onto a playing field with this energy. In America they would arrest the entire stadium!

I just can't make myself care about college sports. I'm a huge fan of the MLB, NBA, and most recently the NFL. But college sports just suck. I think it's cool that these guys aren't getting paid retarded amounts of money and just following the highest bidder like the pros, but the quality of entertainment just isn't the same.

Pro sports in general just aren't much fun for me, unless I'm out with friends or on the piss or whatever.

It doesn't make you less of a man to find TV sports boring, in fact I'd say it's the opposite.

Any skinny nerd and fat geek / AFC can care about TV sports, it doesn't say anything about your manliness.

It's the real sh1t in life that defines you, not the theatric spectacles on TV.

I'd actually argue that watching sports on TV too much actually makes you less of a man, by my definition.

There's no shame in not finding it interesting anymore.

Live your life as a player, not a spectator.

off the record I do still enjoy watching sports occasionally but I'd much rather get involved with something than sit on my ass watching.

No argument there. Still better than hoops.

It doesn't matter how good-looking you are, how romantic you are, how funny you are... or anything else. If she doesn't have something INVESTED in you and the relationship, preferably quite a LOT invested, she'll dump you, without even the slightest hesitation, as soon as someone a little more "interesting" comes along.

I could never get into ANY college sports for some reason. It reminds me of watching the AHL or minor league baseball or something.
