Does glasses a turn off when attracting a hot babe? I've been wearing it since 6th grade. I wore contacts before but my eyes gets dry really easily. I am 6 ft tall and have a slim body. I heard height has a great advantage. So does glasses a huge problem for me? It's not thick ones.

If you ask me.....Glasses doesnt make alot of diffrence. All i would say is dont be affraid to spend alot of money getting a really good pair. Really classy looking....Top dollar. If you think about it. You spend a reasonable amount on a new wardrobe. Well you always wear your glasses so splash abit...

I dont wear glasses for the record. My bro does.....He picks up in contacts thow.

Athletics? I am a state and national beach volleyball player, I wear contacts of course when playing and going out, but the rest of the time i wear glasses e.g. to work and the like.

Read again my friend, I was talking about people's general perception, I know too well that this has nothing to do with athletics.

It's similar to people generally do NOT think of short guys as alpha jocks. I'm NOT talking about the case when they once get to know the person, but only perception on a stranger to stranger basis.

Go back with the contacts, I just got contacts this year best thing ever did that glasses sh1t was killing me. I've got complimented first day that i look cute, I look different, and even got sh1t tested saying "You look like a racoon". (lol) Glasses really can give out a nerd or geek vibe whether you are one or not. I've had people who don't know me call me a nerd or geek.

Ha! I wear glasses. Prada,Versaci, and Chanel. Glasses are always seen because they are on your face, if you 're going to wear them, wear the best. I slay the competition.

In reality, glasses make very little difference unless you got some coke bottle urkel glasses or something. I don't wear glasses that often anymore but the glasses I have are Armani's and I've gotten compliments on them and I have pulled girls while wearing them. As long as the glasses are fashionable, it's not going to have much of an effect on your game.

I think I look better without glasses. I look kind of geeky with them on.

armani, no frame, goldish side. The size of the lenses is neither thick nor big.

i got some giorgio armani 241s, definitely worth my 400 dollars, if you need glasses, get a tinted lense or transitional lenses (the kind that turn into sun glasses)

i remember the stylist telling me that when choosing glasses you should look for three tings

1. glasses should match your facial size (no over sized glasses for small faces. etc)

2. glasses shape should contrast your facial shape (square face, round frames)

3. glasses should match your skin colour (no bright silver frames if your tanned)

YES glasses turn off girls defintely because my glasses are kinda of big so I do get called a nerd dork geek ALOT

I got a pair myself recently and had virtually every person I know say how well they suit me, plus I look older and personally feel more attractive in them so I feel more confident. I guess it depends on what shape face you have, and the type of glasses you have, whereas personally I suit glasses some people look better without, so it depends on how you personally feel. Perhaps you should ask some people's opinions.

I had new glasses I felt confidence but to the people they said I looked ugly,so its not how I feel or YOU feel its the other people.
