lol - as if you will :)

But anyway I was out tonight and got talking to a guy and a girl (HB9, 18yo - she seemed older)

Well they where both cool and I learned that the girl had a boyfriend but the guy wasn't him, he was the guy the bf trusted to look after her but secretly was the AFC who really fancied her (he told me - I had a chuckle).

Anyway when he was away to the toilet, the girl and I got talking and when he got back we where hugging (innocently), he didn't overreact or anything but straight away he did point out a girl and said I should go for her (i had a chuckle because it was obvious that he felt a bit in competion and wanted me chasing something else).

The question is. Would you have gone for her?

Me personally, I thought it wasn't worth the hassle however I'm a pretty decent guy (when it comes to morality) and I'm wondering if that's my problem. Maybe i just don't have the killer instinct.

Yes I would have gone for her.

If you eliminate every woman that SAYS they have somebody then you will spend a lot of time alone.

I always assume every woman is always looking for the next best man: ME!

Overanalyzing “complicated” scenarios, “morality” issues, and what others would do leads to paralysis.

Again, you are eliminating women based on assumptions you have about their situation. Truth is, you don’t know sh*t about them nor they you before you make a move. 80% of the info you have is usually horsesh*t.

Only one way to find out. Make a move.

Peace and Quiet

If you currently have too many women chasing you, calling you, harassing you, knocking on your door at 2 o'clock in the morning... then I have the simple solution for you.

Just read my free ebook 22 Rules for Massive Success With Women and do the opposite of what I recommend.

This will quickly drive all women away from you.

And you will be able to relax and to live your life in peace and quiet.

The age and the love triangle thing was sort of the reason why I asked!

I wasn't hanging out with them, I was in a club where most people are around 30, they just happened to be in there. Also he was 24.

But that said, if there wasn't going to be the drama, then the age wouldn't have held me back. As long as she's over 18, I don't care. But it's good to know I wasn't being an AFC and wimping out, and then just trying to justify it later on.

I have rethought my previous statement on this issue and I was wrong. You shouldn't be thinking at all about WHAT they are saying but moreso HOW they are acting around you. Never trust what a girl is saying - her body language/actions will reveal far more about her character.

That having been said, if you feel you have the balls to put the moves on the b1tch, go for it.

Curious on how she got into the club if she was only 18.

It's the UK, we can drink at 18. However girls who look older like her can get in from 15 to 16 on.

Besides - If you're hot, normal rules don't apply.

Don't always be the one putting yourself out for her. Don't always be the one putting all the effort and work into the relationship. Let her, and expect her, to treat you as well as you treat her, and to improve the quality of your life.

Mind_Body_Soul - The fact that I brought it up probably indicates to me that I should have attempted something.

Oh well, I'm sure it won't be the last time I do something AFC.

Yea - there will always be times. It's easy for the people on here to play armchair quarterback. Sh1t, hindsight is 20-20, but when you're in the set, it's completely different.

It is very easy to play arm-chair quarterback on these situations. We all miss opportunities all the time. The beauty of it though, is there are so many opportunities, usually when you’re not expecting it. Don’t sweat any individual one; just know it is inevitable others will pop up. The fun thing is knowing it’s almost impossible to go anywhere or do anything out in which you won’t have an opening. They’re everywhere.

See, the problem with being 31, single, no kids, no diseases, no debt, etc. (and living like a rockstar, armed with DJ skills) Is that all of your "peers" fvcked up and got married, had kids, and have ridiculous "obligations" so they never want to (can get away with) go out, chill, or do anything besides sit and be miserable at home. So, you are left only 18-26 year olds to party with.

It's actually win-win because I enjoy partying, and those are the ages of chicks I prefer banging anyway.:)

I'm with you on the limited pool of people to party with once you get into your 30's but I can't help but get annoyed my the mindless chatter that these young teenie-boppers do here in the states. It's hard enough for me to sit through a conversation with a 25 year old grad student when she prattles on about Lost or American Idol so I can't imagine what I'd see in an 18 year old.

But still, I agree that it's a rare find to come across a woman who's in her 30's who isn't bound by the societal norms which dictates the actions of so many people. You'd think that they'd be even more interested in being active since they should have more means available to them than the teenie-boppers. I guess it's not the case if you let old age catch up with 'ya....

The 20-25 year olds I hang out with, since I hang out with cool ones, are just as mature as the 30 year olds I know.

Age is such an overrated statistic.

Besides... most 30 year olds are already boring. I LIKE to go out, have a few drinks, shake it a bit.

As I started reading this, I was like  "I can't stand to listen to women MY age talk about what happened on Lost or who her friend drama is or the latest bullsh!t book they're reading."

Then I kept reading and actually lol'd.

Sometimes I want to go on and on with some jibberish that I KNOW a woman doesn't want to hear about just to retalliate:

"Yeah, so I just got back from trapping this weekend I went with my uncle when he ran out his cable restraints for coyote I made four foot-hold sets Oh you should have seen 'em Diabolical I used "3's because I'm using my #1.65's back around home locally so we put his tags on my traps too because he said he'll check them for me until the season closes next weekend Number threes are too big for fox, and that's what I'm hoping for around here, but they're ok for coyote I got them originally for beever drowning sets in slides and castor mound sets Oh and speaking of beever I was chopping through 8" of ice with my ax for hours in -10 cold I got 6 brand new #330 coni's, got them rusted and dyed, and was itching to snap some beever So I have 6 #330's out waiting for some hungry beever to go for a little snack and SNAP - I'll chop them out next weekend when I go I'm pretty excited because I like beever. I like beever, get it? Aren't you listening?"

Hm. I think I'd rather talk about "Lost". Does that say something about me? ;)

It says you are a woman or a PETA freak that watches too much TV.

Yeah, that's right, I said it. What!? :box:

I'm j/k, folks from the city just have no interest in, or can't relate to, certain outdoor/wilderness recreations because the lifestyle is so radically different.

thickandcreamy - I do use my own moral compass, I just wanted other oppions. Also most attractive girls have boyfriends, dating is about spinning plates, for us and them. Just because she is seeing some guy doesn't mean she's serious or going to get married - she's still looking for a better guy if he comes along. In my oppion, anyone is fair game unless there is a ring on their finger. I do draw the line there - more because it says more about the girl than anything else.

My main problem was the fact that there was a "protector" there, that's what put me off and truth is I could have made a move but I actually liked the guy so didn't want to be a **** to him.

As for age and having stuff in common, I generally find younger people more fun although just as interesting. It's during the university years or eaarlier that people get into music, history, art, politics etc - at that age people have so much more thirst for life. The older you get, alot of people loose that because the monotany of "normal" working life becomes more important and as a result they become more boring. But then again, I think I'm young for my age, I haven't got that need to settle down - yet.
