Yes, a woman has a right to prefer an educated/well-off man just like you have a right to want a woman with a great personality and a great body.
In fact, woman always prefer this man in the long run.

Whats new? Its as old as prostitution.

I really don't think asking a man to have at least a bachelor's degree is asking too much (any man can get a bachelor of arts/science from any average state school) I personally would, about 50/50 date a woman who doesn't have one herself, HOWEVER I DON'T GO AROUND ASKING IT AS SOME PREREQUISITE BECAUSE I ASSUME ALMOST EVERY YOUNG FEMALE AGE 22-25 IN NYC HAS ONE OR IS CURRENTLY PURSUING.

Where the problem may really be is if she starts to take out her "personal list" of she expects her man to be financially, high standards etc. and lets it be known to whoever she's dating....that's way too much
