This is kind of ridiculous. Why do girls wear earplugs or earphones, call it what you wish everytime I have the opportune time to try and Spit Some Game...i mean this is just ridiculous. What should I do when they have headphones in??? It would feel kind of odd to say, hey when they're listening to music. Should I just say forget it?

My advice would be to catch them at a time when they're not listening to music. Or if you must, sit next to them and do some work for a few minutes and then tap them on the shoulder and casually ask them if they know how to do a math problem or something. If she's not interested, she'll just put her headphones back on after she's finished answering you.

DRY ERASE BOARD, CELL PHONE-type a text message and show her your phone, talk softly so she cant really hear you, motion to take her ear buds out, pretend to use sign language, pretend to tell a secret to a person sitting across from her in clear view while pointing at her, wait for silent gap between songs, talk louder..........any of these should work with some degree of success.
