Girls Paying For My Dates

I've noticed this with the last half dozen girls I've dated. They've all picked up the tabs on our dates, especially our first dates and sometimes subsequent dates if there are subsequent dates. I'm pretty shy, so half the time, it's the girl asking me out. But even when i ask the girl out, she winds up paying.

I tried paying for one girl (we were at the movies). She got extremely pissed off, offended and shoved my cash aside as if she were disgusted at my offer then continued to pay.

I DID manage to pay for a date with a girl recently. However, she kept asking me if she couldn't pay for her half of the check. "I got it," I said. "Are you sure?" she must've asked three times and seemed genuinely surprised that I would not let her pay.

These are all inexpensive first dates at the movies or a cafe so the financial burden on either side is minimal. But the thing is, I would feel more comfortable paying myself on the first date. However, I can't seem to get girls to allow me to do this. It also seems to create a very weird vibe when I do pay or try to pay. None of the girls has passively allowed me to pay.

What's your guys experience with this?

The only reason she would want you to pay for her is because she's BROKE and wants to EAT. Thus, you never pay for her.. If she complains, tell her are you BROKE and just tagging along with me so you could EAT? C&F.

I always go for 50/50. If she offers to pay it all, it's all good.

Should she ever cry about you paying the bill, never do it. Accuse her of being BROKE and tagging along with you so she could EAT. She's a gold digger, run.

If you are out to dinner. ........sometime before the mel ends "excuse yourself and go to the bathroom" go track down the waitress and either pay her cash (if you know no more food will be ordered) or give her your credit card and tell her to run an open tab. Then go back to your table

1 of two things will happen at this point

1 If you paid cash, you get up, put a tip on the table, take your girl, smile at the staff wave say goodbye to them and walk out with her. Dont even mention it. She will be confused as to why you didnt have to pay, or they are not chasing you down with your check.

2 If you paid with the card. The waitress will bring the tab to the table and just askl you to sign for it. your girl will think you have an account there

The trick is make it a non issue, she will be impressed and be happy that the uncomfortable situation was totally avoided

btw no its not a expensive or extremely nice place and if she wants to pay for a meal because I AM THE MOST FUN SHE HAS EVER HAD IN HER LIFE...then i let her.

Quit 'yer complainin' and learn how to graciously accept their kindness. Stop focusing on your ego telling you must pay and focus on the woman who could be showing you that she's interested.

Francisco, I gotta ask, even though it's completely off-topic. I hear from one or two sources that Minneapolis has some SMOKING little HB's everywhere, congregrating at the big assed mall you guys have and runnin' around the Univ. of Minnesota campus. Any truth to these rumors? Inquiring minds want to know.
