I know how it is. I'm almost 17 but i've been the same height and have had the same amount of facial hair since i was about 13. The only thing that has changed over the years is my voice (and well you know). In middle school I was a freak of nature. I even remember one day while on the bus i heard a group of girls behind me arguing over how old i really was. They were saying, "He's 15 ask him," and "No, He's more like 17 ask him," when one of the girls finally had enough guts to ask I cleared my throat and said with a squeaky voice, "TWELVE!" You should of seen those girls faces. But any way when I got to high school everyone everyone thought I failed twice, and taking showers after JV football practice was hell because everyone looks at yours when yours is the biggest. Girls my age were intimidated by my physical maturity and older girls weren't impressed by my lack of mental maturity. But I worked on it. I started shaving to I hung out with older guys (being the only freshman on the Basketball team helped. Nowadays I rarely date girls my age or younger but when it comes to girls my age its great because its just so easy. Now that the guys my age caught up physically and the girls mentally, I'm already a seasoned vet in the world of 17/18 year olds.
