Girls looks fade quicker than I remember

Jester, I'm not really trying to make anyone feel good with it at least not intentionally. Nor in any way am I saying go for an ug.

ScrewIt, I remember a girl when I was in my late teens who was the cream of the crop. When I first saw her I thought she was the most beautiful broad I'd ever meet. I chased her, like an AFC, for about a year and made it nowhere. Fast forward a few years and I finally hooked up with her. I wish I could have seen my face the morning after when I first saw her without makeup. It was like waking up next to Medussa. Needless to say that didn't last long.

Macgyver, you read into things to much. I didn't say anywhere that personality matters over looks nor would I. I have no aspirations to bend a personality over for a night of romping.

Your right. People do need to take care of themselves and it isn't always just partying. My post was mainly just about the girls who I'd meet back when I was drinking 3-7 nights/week and they have decided to keep it up. You are right about metabolism and maintanence. I really dont like younger girls, at least not the 20-23 yr. old range. I think that they look like babies most of the time and want to go out too much. Haha, that makes me sound like I should be a member of AARP.

I strongly agree with murid's reply. I think a great deal of it is that my opinions towards looks have evolved as well as expectations. I've had quite a few experiences in my day and almost feel a sense of entitlement with women. That probably isn't the best thing I got going for me, lol.

I'm going to bump this up because there are too many looks are everything threads right now. Yeah there are every like 2 months around here anyway, lol.

Looks are everything, if you're a young skank with no future or ambitions trying to tie down mr. right before you fill out to your married or LTR form.

I see girls I went to HS with 5 years ago. Girls that were hot are now single moms with crappy jobs. Some gained weight, some look like they're on drugs. Yuck.

That doesn't really make anyone feel better until you start getting ass that's hotter than these girls.

I've met a few of these declining beauty types. They still got same attitudes. Probably because the dating climate here is desperate.

I'll admit that it may be a bit more difficult for people to stay in shape nowadays for a myriad of reasons but my gosh, you'd think that people would make an honest effort to get back on track. The sad thing is that the amount of 20-somethings who have let themselves go is astonishing. It's not that they're slipping, they've already hit the spot where it's going to be more difficult to get back on track. The thing is that this stuff doesn't occur overnight, it's a lifestyle that they've embraced for quite some time.

I can not fathom how someone can look in the miror, see the extra 50lbs of flab hang out and NOT do anything about it.

I have to say this - the girls who were VERY good looking at 18 are still looking very good at 21-22. I will grant that the party lifestyle is detrimental to your health and it will show, and then you will come to my bar, decide you want the hot 22 year old me, and attempt to kiss me and tip me well.



Here is some stuff off the top of my head that gets you:

Lack of sleep - Less than 6-7 hrs a day
Number of drinks - I try to limit myself to 5-6 drinks a week.
Smoking - I try to smoke a pack of black and milds every 3 weeks or so. Thinking about quitting that... not sure it is great as a social tool.

Oh yeah, I am kind of pulling this out of my ass - but in my experience alcohol SHOWS. After heavy years of drinking the face swells. Russian's have a name for that face - Sivuha.

Emotional hurt/devastation shows too. I don't know what it is, but you can feel the slutty vibe off of some girls, without them actually doing anything either.

Also, following this -happy people have wrinkles "goose feet" on the outer edges of their eyes. People who are unhappy/strict have the corners of their mouth downward. Then I see people who always look concerned. It is fascinating.
