My girlfriend always wants sex with the lights off, never on. Is this typical of girls? I'm in the process of changing this right now, whats a good route - withhold sex?

Good luck breaking that barrier. She's just like any other normal woman, she's just insecure about her body. I'm not assuming your girl is a bad looking at all, that's just how they are. Even the girls that look like twigs think they're fat. Some girls hate their thighs, or ass, or think their boobs sag too low. Whatever it may be. Just try bringing it up casually right before sex or something "how about we try it with the lights on?" and flip the switch back on or something. I don't think "holding out" on sex is a very good idea. If you don't **** her in the dark, she will find somebody who will.

No dimmer? Keep your computer screen on, stereo, tv, etc
Almost all electronics these days have some sort of glow it seems like so it shouldnt be hard to find something that gives off light.

Nah, lights off is comfortable man.
If you don't like it, gradually have sex at lighter times of the day until it's dark with lights on.
I've heard this one heaps and this is the usual progression.
