Girlfriend wants to get tattoo and piercings

Been a while since I posted but I got a minor situation I gotta get off my chest. My girlfriend is in college, as was I until I dropped out. Our schools were roughly 30 minutes apart so we thought we could get it to work (while I could bang broads on side maybe?).

Anywho fast forward to now, she comes and sees me every weekend and stays at my house; all is good. I get done railing her last night and after relaxing for a bit she says to me, "So Alicia and I were in a tattoo parlor and saw a guy with his whole face covered in piercings." I wasn't really listening to her but this really caught my attention. After she wraps up her story I ask her, "what brought you to a tattoo parlor in the first place?"

"Oh I wanna get a tattoo, and pierce my lip right here, but I'll probably be too scared to get pierced." She said it so gleefully it for some reason disturbed me. It almost reminded me of my worst ex-girlfriend, so much so it's as if I could see her face in my girlfriends face.

This shouldn't bother me as I have a tattoo myself (Star of David) and along with my nipples pierced, but for some reason it made my stomach churn and I almost wanted to boot her out of my house.

When I was in highschool I've dated other girls who went off to college and alot of them went this road once they got to school:

1. Got drunk alot
2. Got piercings
3. Got tattoo

I should dump this broad on merits alone of her being in a different town! Every relationship I've had where the chick has to "express herself" by doing this has end due to them eventually becoming attention *****s.

Seems to me this is more about her being in a different town and you not being around. That eventually if she was to express herself, she'll end up like a slut.

But it's all in your head. Girls get tattoo's all the time. Hell i dated a chick that was a tattoo artist.

What is your relationship like with her? Noticing she is getting a little distant? I've been through it too.

No, she is not distant to me at all.

I try NOT to talk to her via the phone as much as I can because A) it's pointless, I really don't want to hear about how her Psych test was OMG SO HARD B) I just don't like using the phone, I like being in person.

This results in me calling her maybe once a week, and her calling me 3-4 times a week. I'm being honest to the core when I say the distance doesn't bother me, it was the fact of what she said and how she said it. I've heard girls tell stories about sucking three guy's ****s with this much enthusiasm.

In my mind I almost equate this to WW2. First Germany invades Poland and we let it slide, next they are moving into France and another guys pants.

It is poor judgment to boot a woman simply because she is interested in getting a tattoo and piercing. Meanwhile, you have have tattoo and piercing yourself. If you're not interested in her anymore, tell her so. And don't make the prospect of her getting tattoo & piercing the issue. Remember to not BOOT unless you have a backup; else, you'd regret doing so.

i think its personal preference. if you like tattoos and have one yourself i think it's still normal to not be down with your girl getting a tattoo. certain types of people tend to have tattoos. that's a generalization, i know, but it still isnt worth it to me to mess around with a girl and take a chance on finding out the hard way. imo, tattoos, on girls especially, are EXTREMELY trashy. then again, im thinking along the lines of "relationship material" girls. if all you want is a lay, then its whatever. but for me tattoos are a no-no.

She is going to get a tattoo no matter what you think of this situation. Look she ain't your wife so if she wants to mutilate her body, then let her (you did). The best thing you can do in this situation is to help her find some tattoo or piercing which will be miniminal in both coverage or damage. There has to be another bigger reason why you would want to dump her. However if its such a turnoff for you then you might as well let her go.

Its better then her showing up one day to your place with a bone through her nose and huge bulleye right above her ass (your typical hor' tattoo).

I equate this to a girl smoking. Either will turn me off very quickly.

If she gets it, she gets it. I leave if she does. I talked to her a bit more about her future plans of body alteration and she told me she is not going to get the piercing because she is too scared and that the tattoo will be small and "meaningful". I gave her the garden variety line, "I like the way your body is, but you get the tattoo if you want it." She gave me this innocent stare, "You dont want me to get a tattoo??" I responded, "It's up to you."

There may be underlying reasons why I find this the quick escape hatch, but I doubt that as I have dumped her once after she rolled up smoking a cigarette with her friend one day. I just have a good idea how I want my women and if they don't fall into my view they continue to drop.

Point being if I don't want her I'll get rid of her.

For a dude with a tat of his own as well as pierced nipples, I think it's very hypocritical to expect a woman to not get a tattoo just because you don't want her to.

I know this site preaches being in control of the relationship, but this just sounds stupid to me. If you don't wanna be with the girl dump her, but I just think that's ignorant reasoning.

I did some deep thinking and maybe I'm becoming a bit tainted from the distance. I've had one or two of these in the past and I know it's dumb to even try them but for some reason I'm a sucker for "giving it a shot". I begin to look at other girls in my town and realize that I could be banging these girls and not being a Monk that doesn't have sex until she comes back.

I'm sure the girls get these same feelings when they are off at school. Maybe I'm just becoming concerned over issues I cannot control, (i.e. she goes to a club without me, goes to a party without me, etc.)

I'll just keep keeping busy to keep her off my mind.

I'm not here to hear praise, I wanna post my achievements and sometimes my questions when I'm lost. I wanted to know what you guys thought about girls getting tattoo, to which I heard a non-ending "yeah we'll **** her after you dump her cuz we love tattoos". I told her I didn't like the idea, I keep her in line when she does **** I don't like (I'm then considered controlling). So now if I take any step her way (I'm now afc)

You guys forget this is a forum, any attitude I display here or any thoughts or conerns I share are open and honest. They are here and not in my daily life. You guys seem to think if I share any concerns with you on here that I get on the phone with my girlfriend and request a daily report of what she has done or who she has hung out with.

Tattoos are a bad sign in my opinion.

People don't refer to them lovingly as "tramp stamps" for nothing.

They signify a girl that is not satisfied with her life who needs some excitement which only slvtting it up and getting covered in tattoos can bring or so they think.

You are absolutely in the right to not want to put up with this.

If thats your preference thats your preference.

This site encourages men to find and identify what they want out of life and if its a girl that is free of tattoos who is not an attention wh0re or smoker then give this chick the boot right out of your life if she gets the tattoo or becomes anything else that gives you that special sick feeling only a woman that is turning into a rotten apple can give.

So yeah don't worry or pay any mind to the selfish or hypocritical arguments put forth by some misguided but well intentioned posters in here.

Being hypocritical is irrelevant as this site is about men finding out and doing what most benefits them and men changing their lives for the better because they want the world and all the women in it at their fingertips.

So the goals that this site causes men to formulate are inherently selfish and its a positive thing.

Run with it.

Do what benefits you first and what serves your selfishness.

Do not worry about hypocrisy when it comes to the women in your life.
