Girlfriend said "break up with me"

For about a week now my g/f thinks she embarrases me. I'm a bit older than her and she's young...I don't care what people think what-so-ever. Since she is young that is a factor, but it dosent bother me for say, but it does weigh on my mind every now and then. Anyway we were on the phone and she said, "its not fair to me if you're embarrased of me so break up if you want to...just do it"

I wouldnt have a problem saying...FINE, leave...but i wouldn't want to just throw her away.

What would you guys think the next/correct move was. I ended the convo saying "i gotta go".

I'm not the best at showing emotion- i wear a "poker-face" alot and i guess it throws her off. We go out, have a good time...but when it gets down to "talking", (u guys know "the talk") like about the relationship and stuff i don't reveal much. Its not a game i'm playing or anything- just the way i am. PRL, i suppose its what i'm 'not' saying that's the problem. I was thinking that much...

Anyway...i spoke with her again today and she's still hung up over the whole thing. I said bluntly, "are you breaking up with me, is that what you want?" and she wanted no part in a break-up.

I'm with bud_2005. She wants to break up but she does not want to be the one to do it. Embarrassment is a trivial reason to break up with someone. If I were you, I would tell her "If you wanna breakup, then you have to do it because I'm not gonna do it for you."

Actually, it sounds as if she wants to keep him, but is scared that he will break up with her at anytime. So in order to know what he is thinking, she is asking him the question. Seems like she is getting paranoid... and overanalyzing his gestures.

Only an insecure person would need to imitate the identity of a celebrity to distinguish himself. A real secure person has his own identity. Clooney is good-looking, but he is not everything so I heard. He is not even a good actor.

If you take a break from posting over 2000 posts in only 3 years and go out into the real world, maybe then you would get laid. I don't care if you go out or stay at home all day. But one thing you will not do is keep lying on this site as long as I am here.

George Clooney sure is the man around Hollywood!

Although that is no reason why I picked the name unfortuantely. I picked it because my friends used to call me a young george Clooney lookalike (around the time I created my username). Simple as that. I have been called every name under the sun, depends on the sytle I am going for at the time. (although I have absolutely no clue how my face can change so much, that I can be called so many damn names, some of the people I am called dont even look at all the same)!! I think I just have a very familiar face!

My latest have been Jude Law, Beckam and just last night, the young dude from summerland (whoever the hell that is)!

I am happy to take any of the names, at least I remind them of somebody famous! Might somehow work like "anchoring" and give me some instant rapport. My friends just put it down to me having some crazy feremones (however you spell it).

Sorry if it sounds like I am trumping myself up, I am simply stating the truth. And if you read my posts, I barely ever try to bring anybody down personally. Unless of course they get under my skin. Maybe my new scalp will become this speculator character!

Me and my friends know this guy that is very clueless about a lot of things in life. But he has a very high inflated ego. He completely gets no respect from guys AND girls. CLOONEY, it sound like you are the same way. There is no way you would look both like CLOONEY, or JUDE LAW, or BECKHAM because all of them have very different and distinguishable looks. Your friends are probably saying that to make fun of you behind your back. As for the crazy "feromones" (it is spelled pheromones), we say similar things to that guy above and we laugh when he actually believe it.

He gets not respect from guys and girls, and CLOONEY I bet you don't either. Like I said before, I think you have a very inflated ego. If you had checked your dictionary speculator is a noun, so it does not work before the word "character." A better way to say this is "Maybe my new scalp will make me become this spectacular character." (This is more humorous and makes more sense).

You are afraid of confrontation, but have no problem going around it and insulting the other person. Instead of fighting you run away and makes insult from a safe distance. This is not honor.
