haha this was a test, girls love to do this to guys, its like 1/2 trying to get you jealous, 1/2 trying to get you to notice her. After waiting for 15 meetings she was probably bored.

Yeah I agree that she's testing you. Girls know EXACTLY what they are doing even when they do stuff casually. She knows you heard her on the phone when she complimented that guys shoes. Now, I wish I could tell you WHY she's doing it.
Maybe she's trying to get your attention. Or maybe she's subtly letting you know that you better appreciate what you have cause there are other guys out there. You know your girl better than me so you can best answer this. Go with your gut. If you are seeing and feeling stuff going on then you are not imagining it.
Personally I never confront girls when they do things on purpose to get my attention. I either ignore it or do the same thing back to them. Next time one of her friends is around give her a compliment. Ask her if she's been hitting the gym lately cause her body is looking tight............... and see what your girl does. LOL fukk it, life is a game, might as well have some fun.

Hehe, ok, let's say for the hell of it I compliment her buddy. I maybe use the same "I like your eyes" comment or any other compliment that I think of in the moment. I have a VERY strong feeling my girl is going to ask me later "what was that all about"? Now, do I come out and say "hey, you said the same thing to my buddy the other day" and kind of let her know I was doing that purposely, or is there a better answer for this? And knowing her, if I give her buddy any other compliment, she is going to come back with "well I just said I liked his eyes, I didn't talk about his body, that's way different." There's no way she would admit of something like that.

I think you have to act like you never noticed her do anything. Just be like "What? I think your friend has nice eyes......... that's it". Keep on your poker face. If you reveal why you made that compliment you are going to come across as petty. As a guy you always want to seem like you don't give a shyt. And I don't mean to act like an assh0le or uncaring.............. but just that little things don't phase you.
Come on bro do it....................... just think, it'll be fun to see her reaction. Then come back and tell us. What's the worse that could happen............... at least you'll have a funny story.

Dude you have 2154 posts........................ you are here for a reason......... so don't knock a guy who's trying to figure out why his girl is complimenting other guys. And women are complex creatures... you of all people should know this. I doubt she is complimenting his friend just for the sake of complimenting him. I'm sure there is a reason why she is doing it right in front of his face.
Ease up a bit on the judgements. I was fair with you in your post when you spent 1,000 dollars in a strip club on a girl who didn't give you no play. So show the same courtesy to our fellow DJ here.
Don't always be the one putting yourself out for her. Don't always be the one putting all the effort and work into the relationship. Let her, and expect her, to treat you as well as you treat her, and to improve the quality of your life.

I'd say she's doing it to make you jealous. Why? Who knows, but the fact that she's vocal about it in front of you (on what seems like a semi regular basis) counts for something.
A close friend of mine is living with a girl he's been with for about a year 1/2 to 2 years. Ever since I first met her I get subtle flirty vibes from her (some more obvious then others). Once we were at a restaurant and she rubs my forearm in front of him. Of course he looks at her like "wtf was that?" and she's all like "he has no hair on his arms" all innocently.
I think she does this partially because she has some interest in me and partially to make him jealous. She may even be doing it to see if she can get me to take the bait, I really don't know what her intentions are.
I'd ignore it, but at the same time I wouldn't hesitate to be more vocal about things I find attractive in other women. Just don't make it seem obvious that you're doing it purposefully, maybe she'll get a clue and stop doing it so much.
