Now, I know that she was just kidding, but what do you guys do when you and a girl friend walk by and she says "eww", in a joking manner?

What I did was turn around and start walking with her and her friend, saying "I'm 'eww'?" And she was like "yeah, eww.", sarcastically, and i give her a weird look and split.

Then she says "way to walk away!"

Coincidently, I was walking to the bus with another girl and some guy walked away from us and she said the exact same thing! What's up with that?

I think you acted pretty reasonably. If it happened to me, I'd probably just raise an eyebrow and/or give them a weird look and ignore it. If I got the idea that they were actually flirting with me (as some people have suggested), I'd probably just respond in a friendly manner.
