Girl seems to runaway at first sense of connection

Hey guys,

been trying to get with this girl for about week now. She will agree to dates but then act weird around the time of the date or come up with some excuse but she keeps setting up future times.

Few of my buds tried courting her in the past and she does the same thing with them. She'd agree to dates, then go AWOL, etc. At the first sign of connection she throws up a shield that prevents any guy from getting close to her.

What is the way around this? How do you breakdown a girl who is afraid to even date? Is this just a classic example of an attention ***** on some weird scale?

What connection has been established? All thats happened here is that shes been a flake. what connection?

This is either a classic AW situation that you've guessed or she has low interest level and sucks at turning anything down outright.

Ok for instances.

One friend said he got to making out with her one night after he thought he was working his way in. After the night they made out she just cut off all contact for a few weeks with him. He moved on of course and now they're friends with no sexual feelings.

Another was just a friend in an of itself with her. He gave her a hug one night after hanging as a friendly gesture and I guess she decided that was getting too close and cut contact off with him. He told her she was delusional if she thought he was trying to get with her and that it was friendly and she came back around.

I've had some sexual history with her in the past. I've made out with her at a party years ago and that eventually lead to me getting her naked but I passed out as I had way too much whiskey. I tried talking to her after that but again she was weird after so I cut her off. I got back into town a few weeks ago so I got a hold of her to catch up.

Did some kino and we set up a date, she had to work so we set something else up which she pulls more excuses.

So I'm guessing she just loves the attention from guys but when it actually comes through to following through with plans she pussies out.
