Started talking to a new girl...I recently heard from a few good sources that she contracted HPV last year from having unprotected sex while drunk ...I asked her about hpv in a way that made it seem that I didn't know the story and she denied having it, several times. She has never blatantly stated she has it

She's really hot with a smoking body but I'm thinking of just dropping her. If she can lie to me about this who knows what else she may have, any one agree?

HPV is common and treatable. Unless you're talking about Herpes, which is not. Maybe she isn't ready to talk to you about it.

Agreed, I'm thinking the OP is confusing HPV with herpes.

If its early on in you two hanging out its not really your business. I'd keep hanging with her and see what happens.

Dude a girl isn't going to randomly tell you "I have hpv" or whatever. Most of the time a girl would tell you right before sex. Think from her perspective guy says"uhhh soo uhhh HPV?". She's obviously embarrassed and wouldn't want to tell anyone, 0 girls in the world would tell someone who asked them this question. 0 exactly 0.

I'm well aware of what herpes vs. hpv is, i know she has had HPV, I'm not too sure which strand she might have, usually in pap smears, 16 & 18 pop up which are the ones who have the probability of causing cancer.

She wants to be sexual with me and I know it's not my place yet but if you're talking about sex with me and I passively bring HPV/STD sexual history up the least a responsible person can do is to tell me. What do you all think?

I really don't see what options you have beyond ditching her, turning a blind eye and (foolishly) hoping for the best, or requesting that she take an STD test (which, to my knowledge, does not test for HPV? Someone please correct me if I'm wrong here)
