This is somewhat of a two-parter, but the topic indicated above - and the one I bring up first - is the bizarre one. The second one probably has an obvious answer, but I'm blanking.
1.) One of my good friends has been trying to meet a HB8 co-worker for a couple of weeks, but he hadn't been able to approach her (nerves). I have crossed paths with this HB7 a few times, so we are acquaintances and get along. A few days ago, I took matters into my own hands; I was teasing HB8 and my friend would "rescue" her. This was successful, they spent the next 5-10 minutes talking and laughing.
Yesterday, my friend wanted me to bring him up if I crossed paths with her. I did, and said how my friend (name) thought she had a great sense of humor. She asks who I'm talking about. My reaction: After I realized she wasn't joking, I showed her a picture of my friend, she recognized him and she said he was cool, funny, etc.
What is this? They met, seemed to get along really well, and now this? I was about to chalk this up as an odd, isolated incident until the HB8 who I'm getting to know (more on her in a moment) told me she herself doesn't remember most of the people she briefly meets, kinda like the other person has to make an impression on her to be remembered. Or, both these girls have amnesia.
2.) That HB8 I mentioned? She and I bust each other's balls all the time. A couple of weeks ago, she chose a doppleganger for me - a cheesy TV character. She joked that she wasn't going to compliment me by giving me a cool character. This has somehow turned into some all-time classic. Everyone she explains it to thinks it's hilarious, and she just got the character's voice down to torture me further. The one big plus is it allows for a lot of kino, though she's flirty; she'll pat/rub my arm/chest when she does this, and I playfully push her away. I know girls give nicknames to friends and boyfriends. Here's the catch: HB8 is supposedly in a LTR, but she's never mentioned this bf to me, not once. Is there a difference as to the type of nickname they choose?
