Girl counteroffers but in a *****y way

I ask out this girl, we've been on three dates so far. Her interest level is not all that high but so far she's been agreeing to go on dates and while things are moving kinda slow she seems to like it when I kino her and when I kiss her she kisses me back and smiles.

Anyway I suggest another date tuesday night and she says she is busy with a term paper. I say no worried and hope the paper goes well. She says "Yeah ive gotta do it this week cos ive got exams in two weeks time and wanna get started on revision". Im like "ah exams and deadlines are some of the few things i don't miss about uni" She replied "Are you free this weekend". I say "well im out saturday night and have a squash game sunday morning but otherwise pretty free". She says "Well I promise ill make time for you sometime this weekend. Fair?" Im a bit thrown by the "Fair?" bit as i didn't know about her papers and its not like im being unreasonable in wanting to see her again but i ignore it and say "Sure" and make my excuses and get off the phone.

So Im going to just wait to see if she does get in contact about doing something this weekend and if not her loss.

But her last comment "Fair?" got to me a bit as it completely negated the good sign that she bothered to counteroffer. Is it just her being a ***** because she is stressed out or is she trying to give me the hint that Im being too pushy and should back off?

I fail to see your argument. She did counteroffer, all that is left to be seen is how she is going to make it up to you.

Sorry maybe Im reading too much into it. I guess its just the way she said "Fair?" after her counteroffer.

Dude, what the hell are you talking about? Getting your panties in a bunch because of one little word? I guess it must have been her tone, because there is nothing in the word fair that would warrant this reaction. Isn't that just a way of of asking whether you agree to her compromise?
