But if there is 5% who will give me a look I will find them. That is why I am always scoping out a scene to look for who is diggin what I have to offer.

Where did this belief that masculine men attract femine women come from?

There are many examples in real life that doesn't support this belief. A lot of male bodybuilders, for example, go out with women that are buff/work out a lot. They don't have the typical woman's body.

And one of the most feminine men that has been able to attract some really hot feminine women is the Artist formerly known as Prince.

1. women are attracted to masculinity because they want a man who can protect them...I think it's primitive programming that is still in use today.

2. Prince is a superstar...ho's would of loved him if he was buffed out too.

3. Bodybuilders don't always date other bodybuilders. Alot of the time you pick from the pool that your swimming in...ie the gym. In my case back then I taught tai bo type classes so I got the aerobics chicks in the late 80's and 90's.

I think there are plenty of skinny guys that do well with the ladies.

Prince might not have been the best example, but there are guys I personally know that are thin that can get women. Muscles aren't everything, a lot of guys that are pretty big don't have the looks to go along with it and some women are looking for that.

If you like to eat, being strong is the best way to attract women physically. Muscles consume calories, and you can be fatter b/c any bulge can be either fat or muscles; they have a hard time telling.

Yeah, like the original poster, I'm also 220, 6'0". I bench close to 400... yada yada, whatever. I'm attractive, but so are a lot of 130 lb guys. I can kick their ass; they can outrun me. Both would survive in the wild. Not all "real men" are cut from the same cloth. You can't have a football team of all linebackers. Men come in all shapes and sizes and their are women for them all if they believe in themselves.

There's nothing wrong with looking good. It's going out of your way to look good and worrying all the time about your appearance that's troublesome. Handsome, not pretty.

How many times have you just gone out all scrubby-looking and had women eyeing you over left and right?

As far as the "ultimate virility" is concerned, I don't know if I buy all that. Not that it doesn't work, that this particular guy has it. But I don't know him, so if he says he's the machine, then let him be the machine.

I think what he sees is what we all see. We (especially the n00bs) tend to complicate the ideas behind attraction way too much.
