Gonnamakeit,

What you did is incredibly impressive, just for the sheer guts it must have taken.

You being 16 and being continuously shot down by 25-30 year old women and doing it over and over again is great. That is a sign of a winner right there.

But yeah, like other people are saying, what were you thinking, you're a teenager and your approaching grown women. You were almost guaranteed to get shot down, especially if you behaved nervously. They would think it was funny at best, and completely creeped out at worst.

But, to continually put yourself in that position in order to improve yourself is a mark of a winner. So keep it up:)

I felt fine yestarday it is probably the rash my entire body is covered by it it hurts like hell I can not do anything but sit at home playing the rejections over in my head.
It happens. Congratulations on getting rejected. This means you are a couple of steps closer to a yes, and you have a thicker skin now.

gonnamakeit. Good choice for a username. With you stuttering like ****, and still approaching knowing you're going to get rejected. You're deffinetly gonna make it. Don't get discouraged. This is what is supposed to happen. You're supposed to fail many, many times until eventually you figure it out and you succeed.

I have missed more than 9000 shots in my career. I have lost almost 300 games. On 26 occasions I have been entrusted to take the game winning shot... and missed. And I have failed over and over and over again in my life. And that is why... I succeed. - Michael Jordan

Props on trying man. Just pick your targets a little better.

Pick yourself up, dust yourself off and keep going.

Yestarday I decided to do 10 approaches I did them and got blown out on all of them. One of them included haveing a train full of people laughing at me for the rest of the ride while I almost cryed in embarresment my confidence went down with each one I feel horrible today how do I get over it and regain my confidence.
The difference between the chumps and the champs is their ability to go through the pain period.

Hang in there my friend. :box:

Here is my mindset:
I am not going to fail when I approach. I am just going to learn more and more. Deep inside I know I am inching closer to my best most successful self.

Alright I am good now I think the main thing I was upset about was that with each approach my AA got worse and it is worse today than it was but I will think of confidence like building a muscle you break it down it is weaker than it recovers and gets stronger also I will try this stuff. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UlIrvu78NO0
Hello mate... I will give you some advice, if you approach older woman than yourself it is an advantage to look a little older than you are..

Let your beard grow , take on some clothes that you look a little older like a suit ore something... And there you got it...........

I did the same thing when I started to approach, after I had approached among 100 ladies I got it more how you should do it..................

It is good for practicing to approach all the girls at one place........

But when you get more into it you only approach a few, the thing is that you look less desperate and because of that you get higher value, and the womans now that when you approach them, they should feel proud that actually you cared about approaching exactly them......

The most important thing in my mindset is to have fun, and I have always a good time.. .

Good luck :)

Believe it or not, I'm inspired by this, I've had similar days, just not so much with the embarassment from others. I usually get rejected politely, it's the norm, although I've never really been a fan of approaching b!tchy women. Maybe I'll try to approach some of them just for the hell of it! Bad days, I just drag myself back home, think about the better person I'll become and focus on what's more important at the time-being (i.e. academics, hobbies, even friends/family).

Thanks good idea I actually look very young for my age (more like 14) but I wore a college t-shirt (which probably didn't help) i get upset about looking young sometimes but I try to just ignore it because the more I think about it the more it hurts me as far as nervs and feeling ****ty.
I try to just not look in a mirror before approaching because one time I had one of my best days feeling really confident and got checked out by an hb8.5-9 with strong ec and eye ****ing on both ends and she was older than me this was weeks ago i just happened to feel amazing that day and really happy.
so I am thinking holy crap I must look so good I go into the bathroom and look in the mirrow and my collar is ****ed up and my hair looks real bad so I realized thinking I look bad or young is even worse than looking bad or young I am sure logically it does matter but it just I am better off telling myself that it doesn't since no point killing my confidence. (btw I have done hypnosis cds/self hypnosis to make me beleive I was super attractive it was temporary but the girls actually would respond as if I was more attractive this reminds me to start doing that again).

But ya I can not wait till I can grow more facial hair maybe a few more months that will make things awesome since if I could grow full 5 o clock shadow or something I could definetly pass for older since everyone looks basicly the same with there face covered in hair not neccisarily even to pick up these adult women but at least so I could practice with them at least willing to acknowledge me.

thanks a lot for the replies guys they were all awesome. That one about my name (gonnamakeit) was especially awesome because it reminds me why I made that user name things were really really bad at the time and I made that name so I could look at it and aways remember that no matter how bad things got and ****ty I felt that one day I was gonna make it and I had somehow forgotten that and that was the thought I should of had in the first place after each of the rejections .

Mad props to you once again bro. I was in your place like I said at one point (the fvcking beginning) going through rejection right after big HAPPY rejection, eventually they failed to phase me. I'm still not phased by rejections and your doing good in getting that practice in early. It's incredible how it helps you stop caring about the outcome and in the end still carrying on a content life.

I'm brand new to MMA classes here at my college, but I'm getting submitted left and right and losing my sparring matches, but after a few months, I'll be a machine :)
Be easy kid, I remember back when I was 14, I was so involved in new hobbies that I was busy every weekend.
