Getting old SUCKS!

Besides that now you have to go the THE MATURE MAN Forum to talk... :p
Physical activities takes weeks to recover.
When you eat something you can normally eat before and your body doesn't like it, now it'll let you know BIG TIME!
You got gray hair - and overall you look old. Even tho your body is still in great shape compared to A LOT of people, it still shows your age.
Then there's the women... I'm 40+ - I dated a 31 year old last year (who's still tryn to holla at me.) and anyone who's younger doesn't want to give me the time of day! ...and that's cool whatever. I'm dating a woman now who's a lil older than me but she's got a wicked ass body, is a freak in bed and she's rich - so I'm gonna get mine regardless. It's just that now, I just want to skip all that sweating and just nut. The first time we f*cked she told me she came like 8 times and now she wants it every night like that, WTF?!?!
Don't get me wrong - some guys would give their left nut to have that problem and I totally get that. Still..... every night 8 times?!?!?! W T F?!?!?
So the gray hair and the weeks to recover from the gym or playing football, and even dealing with not getting with women in their 20's anymore - I can deal with that.
What I want to know is.... is there something I can take that's not Viagra or said such that I can get to take drink or whatever that will allow me to maintain a lil longer to please my girl? That's more important to me than anything. I know I'm not the only mature male with this issue.

From someone else in the 40 plus crowd, ditto on the 20something hotties shying away more and more. Even the ones giving IOI, you gotta watch out for the ones looking for sugar daddies. GYM time is a requirement now. Damn if I am going to settle for looking like Patton Oswalt.

At fourty you are only just off the very peak of your prime....The big problem with aging for Men,is not Svexual...I can assure you on my Bank Managers Life,that if you keep doing it on a Daily base with someone (Anyone),then your body will just keep thumping along like an old Buick...True you will be helped by indulging in supplements and doing your Kegals..But that is not the problem,nor is finding Women,An aging demographic ensures,they come to you...The real problem is aging Joints and Energy levels...For the former,Jophil told me years ago about Gelatine,and regularly taken it certainly helps...As to the latter,sorry Guys,I have no magic bullet...Exercise,particularly Weights,Good Diet,lots of green leaf Veg,Zinc,VitB,all help a lot,but inevitably you do tire out...So remember,the body loves regular routine more than anything,so work towards retiring by fifty, to a comfortable pad in a healthy climate.

Best replies ever! All true. These boards changed my game way back when and just like back in the day - my game changed again by coming here.
Everyone who posted is new - except Scaramouche! Thanks again for the righteous 411! :)

I found a supplement that works grea!t - but there are some side effects.
It's a pill that you can get over the counter called Rhino. Works great! On top of doing what it's suppose to do (hard as steel), the horny factor was thru the roof! ..and it lasted all day today. Three things about it I didn't like....

1. Made you very light sensitive.
2. Head got really stuff'd up. (no pun intended)
3. The headache..... oye vay!

Other than that tho.... :D Last night was for the books! Real talk. There was a lot of coming. :)

Because of those symptoms from the pill, I'm going to up my gym time a lil more cuz I think it had something to do with the fun last night. I'm going to follow the guidlines to what Scaramouche had said cuz really, I've been doing just that now (taking vitamins, zinc, diet, excercise, etc) and maybe try what Mauser96 suggested too. Thank you Mauser96! Good lookn out man! So yea, the pill worked great but wont be taking it again.

You need to focus on trying to eat as healthy as possible without overdoing it then also amping up the exercise even more with swimming which wont mess up your joints.

Strength from the inside out!

I've found just recently that simply getting a good night's sleep seems to have worked wonders.
For one week I disciplined myself to be in bed by 11pm and getting a good 8 hours. That weekend, I pounded my GF three times in 24 hours and had no loss of hardness.
I also started taking vitamin B and liver tonic tablets, but I think to have such a drastic turnaround in a week, it would most likely be the adequate sleep.
I also haven't discounted the placebo effect.

As a part of the 40+ club (GreasyPig is an honorary member for the moment), I also find that moderate exercise, such as 20 minute light jogging (not running) will increase your bloodflow and testosterone. It will also improve your sleep, and sexual stamina.

Agreed, GOOD SLEEP counts a lot.... the Germans got this right, if you have never seen a German king bed, they have this figured out:

2 single mattresses with seperate single bed frames joined together as a King sized bed. Less bothersome with waking each other up while you are sleeping.

I actually make a game of seeing how many years I can rack up. I'm looking forward to my 37th birthday this year. Every once in a while I read the obituaries looking for people younger than me that died and inside of my head or out loud I make fun of them and say "I OUTLASTED your as$!".

I'll give you a few secrets to feeling better. If you do these things, in 2 weeks or less you'll feel 10 years younger...... just 1 and 2 are good enough. I added extra though.

1) Stretch. Keep a reasonable amount of play in the muscles to avoid aches. No need to be super flexible. Just for maintaining existing flexibility and prevent over-tightening. Do NOT overstretch or stretch too hard. Gentle stretching.

2) 2 warm/hot baths or showers a day, soaking 15 mins each. As hot as is comfortable. Humans are more sedentary than they used to be. Humans used to move around more, meaning the blood circulated through their bodies more, by necessity, because of movement. The hot bath forces circulation through the muscles via vasodilation. The opening of the blood vessels. this is why your skin has a pinkinsh/reddish color after a hot bath.

3) Walk daily or a few times a week. The lungs and joints will get gentle exercise this way. It's the animals' exercise of choice. Animals walk far more than they do anything else.

4) Focus on what you like. Do the small things you enjoy every day. If you like 80's tv shows, go onto Hulu and watch 80's TV shows. If you have a bad habit of watching negative TV shows and the news, stop watching them. Talk about things that are fun and interesting. Quit talking about the negative. Spend time only around people you like being around.

5) Scaramouche mentioned gelatin supplements. Gelatin contains building blocks for the joints. Building blocks for bones, connective tissues and skin. Gelatin contains collagen, which is a building block for all of those tissues because gelatin is a flavorless substance extracted FROM those tissues in animals.

6) Drink plenty of water.

40 is NOTHING, dudes. at age 60 I can STILL hop over a 30" wall, no run, no backswing, nothing. I can still do one armed pushups. I recomend "stackable" crates, a pc of playwood atop of whichever height you use, and aerobic stair stepping on same, keeping your heartrate at 80% of your max. for 30 minutes, 3x a week, every other day, in other words. Learn a REAL martial art, as well as shooting, as great, entertaining exercising, confidence building, freedom and respect maintaining, money making hobbies.

What compensatory traits do you have? At 40 you should be 100% established, emotionally, financially, physically. Hopefully you've SEEN things. Hopefully you've LIVED. And hopefully you have something to show for it.

Pretty sure you can still land the 20 somethings, but it's going to take more than just game by now, that's the reality.

PS. gym time is a requirement ALWAYS, not when your body starts to hurt because you've neglected it for half your life. That's the main problem with people and serious fitness - they only do it out of necessity. It should be a lifestyle.

OP, I'm an active guy and have a lot of experience with supplements in regards to nutrition and testosterone. After trying dozens, I've narrowed the most effective, for me, down to these.

Multi-vitamin - Use a quality brand, I highly recommend NOW Foods brand, available at Amazon. They also make all the following supplements.

Tribulus Terrestris - Natural testosterone booster.

Maca - Natural testosterone booster.

ZMA - Natural testosterone booster and helps muscle recovery.

Creatine - Just like when you take it before the gym, take it before sex for extra stamina and energy.

Glucosamine / Chondroitin - Helps rebuild and maintain connective tissue, such as cartilage. Get some with MSM in it.

Sleep - Quality, uninterrupted sleep of at least 8 hours does amazing things for the body.

These are all the supplements that I do now, and I can feel a difference if I stop using them for a few days. I'm more tired and not as aggressive in the gym or in the bedroom. I've even tried double-dosing before a night out on the town, and it's effective for that extra boost of test.

Holy **** there's a lot of great replies to this.
The stretching - epic sleeping. Those I kinda do now and it works except that when I say kinda I mean SOMETIMES I get to sleep for 8hrs but I like staying up late as possible, i fight sleep all the time.
I took creatine(?) for my workouts back in the day and it didn't do anything for me except made my stomach funny. Unless they have changed it since i took it never did much for me.

I wanted also to say that the supplement I had mentioned earlier... pretty sure poisoned me a lil.
Poor man's x maybe? I hoped my body built up a tolerance for it because it was great. Just like booze or cigarettes - your body will pay a price for that.

It sucks. It's not about not getting any trust and believe.. it's about body breaking down before I want it to.
I was out kickn it and just enjoying the awesome weekend and I was like "why is everything so blurry?" ..then I realized that my vision is so blurred now by what I call eye cheese floating around on the top of my eyeball. It's not like I need glasses and my vision is better than most but... yea, getting old sucks.
It sucks cuz Im in full workout mode and my body is sore as a mutherf'er too!
It wouldnt be if I was still 23. FACT!
