sometimes if i dont trust the girl that much i use two condoms at once.
I never claimed that they are any more likely to break than any other condom you purchase or recieve through any other means, anywhere. However, in my own personal experience I've had 4 condoms from the health unit tear on me, out of perhaps 10 times using them (over a 2 month period). 40% failure might not be the norm, or an average, but that number is far too high for me. Perhaps I just have bad luck, but it's irrelevant either way; I speak for myself when I say that I won't use the condoms they provide ever again - even if my reasoning is based on 'a bunch of bullsh*t'.Originally posted by -HPNOTIQ-
Response to an earlier post:
I've never heard that the condoms from a Public Health Center are prone to breakage. That's a bunch of bullsh*t.
Public Health Center condoms are fine...

Where can you get them for that price? What store?
My problem is I have a slight latex allergy and a severe nonoxynol 9 allergy. I can only wear rubbers with no spermicide. After Im done, I gotta take the rubber right off and scrub my stuff with soap and water.
lambskin does not protect you from certain STDs as well. I believe that there are some newer, higher tech options.Originally posted by penkitten
for the guy who is allergic to latex:
you could look for whats called lambskin , which has no latex, but i am sure the price is going to be outrageous.
however you have no other choice..

That's true. But it is fairly reliable. The thing about Polyurethane is that it often comes with a warning that there weren't enough tests done to conclude that the material can prevent all viruses from entering or existing the condom.
Men frequently err by talking too much. They often monopolize conversations, droning on and on about topics that bore women to tears. They think they're impressing the women when, in reality, they're depressing the women.
