I just turned 30. Total non-event for how I feel about myself.

I'm better looking, stronger, fitter, way healthier than I was at 25 and at 18. Mentally, financially, socially, I'm also miles better.
That's pretty much the way I felt when I was 30. I would say that I found it easier to attract and keep women in my 30s because I had built my value up. But I notice there's a trend here lately saying that guys in their 30s are now viewed as creepy, so I don't want to be contrarian.

I'm not sure on the etiquette of posting links here, but I saw this recently and found it interesting. http://therationalmale.com/2012/06/0...ating-the-smp/
I see by that chart that at my age, my SMV is now about 3. But considering I usually rate about a 2 on Heartiste's dating market value test I guess that's a step up. Oh well, fvck me.

Some things I've noticed:

More female attention by far

My goatee grayed and I got a few gray hairs on the sides of my head (ironically many women find this appealing)

I can't drink like I used to, so I stopped entirely

Better sense of direction in life

Better decision making

Stronger backbone

You fear less than you did in your 20s

The finite nature of life becomes more apparent

Problems/priorities change in scope. In your 20's it's about making enough to cover your habits, in your 30's it's about keeping a roof over your head, knowing where your meals are coming from and how your bills are getting paid, maintaining your social groups, where your career is going, etc.

Subject to judgement because I've chosen to be unmarried without children.

All in all, it's not bad so don't trip on it :)

Well, the avg 30-sth man is unattractive thus creepy to young women, for sure, but so is the avg 20-sth man.

30 is still young and you shouldn't have much of a problem gaming girls in the 20-24 range. I think when you get past 35 is when things get a little harder as far as gaming younger woman go. Doesn't mean you can't get younger girls but you're better off being 27 all things being equal.

I think most guys who are 40 and say this is the best time for getting hot girls are guys that sucked with woman in there 20's. Very few guys that were good with girls in early 20's will make this statement.
